One of the main reasons for my original post (OP) linked above was to say that a "sugarbaby" (SB) may be a good alternative in Isaan since the Pattaya-style short-term (ST) and long-term (LT) options are hard to find here. An SB is a long-term relationship (months, years) founded on friendship with generous support that does not directly tie the "deed" to the money, so calculating the ratio of money given to the number of physical interactions is not relevant. That is just my opinion. And I like the SB-style, but I acknowledge there are risks. The price is the result of negotiation, depending on how pretty she is, how much she likes her daddy, how much money she needs, how much she would make if she returned to Pattaya, the negative aspects of Pattaya, etc. I explained in the OP how Fon and I started on a pay-per-meet model and ended up at a monthly salary (20,000).

During my trip to Isan Provence, I only saw two girls I found attractive. I didn't like the way the were dressed up there. It was good living though. The only thing it didn't have was nightlife. But I got the chance to enjoy family life. That was certainly a different experience. Actually it was priceless.

I highly recommend to anyone who has the interest to check it out. If for nothing more than to see the contrasts. It give you the opportunity to see how the red light district in Bangkok and the entire city of Pattaya are social anomalies of Thailand.

Twice Fon stated that she was considering returning to Pattaya, but she has not. Around this time, we negotiated a monthly salary of 20,000 Baht. I also give her cash occasionally and I buy her presents. She has invited me to go fishing, go camping, and to spend the night with her. In a series of 2 weekend trips, we met up with her friends to go to Tawan Daeng and other bars in Isaan. Nowadays, about 10% of the time, Fon pays the bill at a bar or restaurant. There is a big age gap between us, so it's a sugarbaby relationship, not a potential marriage, but a very pleasant friendship and we have a lot of fun.
