That is, information that can help a member here avoid the very real pitfalls that can ruin a night out or a life.

I'm 84 and there are a lot of members here who are 60+. I have personally known at least 2 for a minimum of 2 decades. I might know others, but the usage of different board names on different forums can make it difficult to know for sure.

Nothing has changed in this regard since last time you were in a gogo. Mamas, waitress, managers, your desired girl's friends have all been asking for tips or drinks for ever.

And I would add that Thailand does not have a tipping culture in the same way that the US, but they still tip. It is incorrect to think they never tip anywhere they go. Massage places, taxi drivers, some restaurants, Thai drinking bars or establishments, Thai patrons leave tips in all these places and you look like cheapskates when you don't do it.

Constant tipping can largely be avoided and brushed away with a smile despite a bar's staff and mamasan's constant pestering for tips. The bottom line result of getting Real Sex / DFK, BBBJ and BBFSCIP with a gogo bar hottie for 5,000 - 6,000 baht all in for that part of it, the barfine paid at the bar and the girl's fee always paid after the sex, all agreed to upfront before the barfine is paid and with as little argument and hassle about it in the bar and in the room as you described is worth every baht and moment of minor annoyance along the way, in my humble opinion.
