This is not new. It's been the case for upwards of a decade. I've been going since early 2000's and even then it was a dud. But it's not zero sum, go or no-go. It's just not a good place for pay 4 play as a primary motive. Germany, Austria Switzerland and Spain are much better for pure play trip in the neighbourhood. Amsterdam is still however a solid city for tourism. And while there you could spend some money on legal paid sex which is a bonus. But it is not without risk, especially if you are shopping at the entry level. things can get pretty scammy. There is still some good high end escorting in Amsterdam if you find yourself in a bind. Or want to be put in a bind.

Yes definitely, I would say so. It should take 3 hours max roundtrip (likely less 2-2.5 hours) if taking a car (Bolt / uber).
