Posts: 2018It may or may not chill out. As I've pointed out, the USD / Col Peso rate was below 2000 for most of 2010-2014.

Posts: 290Agree with all of this. Since my first time in meddy in January 2025 prices have gone up 33% just due to the dollar / peso fuckery. Still going to go to Colombia as it is my favorite but damn this stuff needs to chill out.

Posts: 473Ailen 170 K 1 HR + 120 K oral natural Erotic Massage, no vaginal penatration
Ailen 170 K 1 HR + 120 K oral natural.
I had seen her last year, you can search my reviews.
If you are looking for a TRUE massage professional that gives a great happy ending with lots of passion, kissing and a BJ, this is the girl for you. But she will not do vaginal penetration. Which is fine by me, but just a heads up for you guys.
I arrive at her apartment which is a weird enclave in Belen, it's kinda far but her place makes it worth it.
She is about 30 with very cute face and signature bright red hair. I hadn't seen her in so long and she instantly recognized me, we stare, look at each other and give each other a HUGE long deep kiss. It was like an old hook up body and instantly made me feel welcome and hard.
She has upgraded her setup and now as a dedicated room with a massage table with a complete cut out and pillow for your head. I hand the money, get undressed and lay down on my stomach. She comes back in a min later with water and starts the massage.
The vibes are perfect, lighting, sound, she really knows how to create an atmosphere. She has ALL the tricks, hot oils, special massage vibrator, those tingle things for your head. She really knows what she is doing and takes pride in her work. She is also very strong and can go deep into your muscles. She's going over my entire body and while I'm down she slowly starts to brush her fingers around my balls. I love this type of tease as it gets you ready for the main event when you turn.
She does the flip and starts to massage my legs, then she un does her top and bottom and now she is looking at me and rubbing all around my thighs. I grab her perky nipples and play with them and then ask to go in for a kiss which is obliged. We start to kiss as well and it's getting deep and passionate. She comes up and starts slowly grabbing and jerking my already hard cock. I keep touching her firm ass and tits and play a little with her and she grabs the alcohol. She gets me all cleaned up and then finally takes me into her mouth. Fuck! Her tounge feels like silk and I already want to pop after 20 seconds of it. She has the perfect stroke and suck ratio and I tell her she has to stop or I'm going to cum! We stop and she just is rubbing around my thighs and kissing me. We go back to her sucking and stroke and the reality is, I just can't take it, I ask her where she wants my cum and she points to her tits, she switches up so I'll shoot on her tits while grabbing her ass. This is such an amazing view and feeling that as I pop I can feel all of my body shaking, I must have been nutting forever and I'm grabbing her ass hard as I shoot it all over her. She keeps stroking until I tell her to stop and she is soo happy and smiling at me. She cleans me up and then I go to the shower across the hall. I feel sooo relaxed I stand there while the cold water hits me. I usually take warm ones but I want to feel my core cool down. I walk back slowly, get dressed and we hug each other and give a long kiss. She then lays out cards on a table and makes me pick numbers, she is into tarot cards and reads my fortune. It's cute and I play along but this chick def a gem stone, hippie out of space type girl. I pitch her ass on the way out as my taxi arrives.
Guys, if you are missing that true massage and happy ending, this is 1000% your girl.

Geopolitics and World Finance is beyond the scope of this board but I will say fighting a war doesn't bode well for international bond markets.

If I were a Colombia simp Gringo youtuber I would encourage you to not come hoping that would some how affect the Peso or the amount a Parque Llreas Puta charges. As an Expat and a monger I'the say that anyone stupid enough to go to Parque Llreas right now deserves whatever price a chica charges you. However either way it doesn't affect the economy of Colombia as a whole in the slightest.
Either way your guess is as good as mines. If you choose to deal with a chick maybe check out Price it Colombia to find out the real cost of things down here.
Hope this Helps.
Trip.

Posts: 1194If that were the case, the USD would be losing value across the board. As Combo pointed out, in the last four months the USD has gained value against the Euro, Canadian dollar, and the Brazilian Real. It is about the same value against the Japanese Yen.

Posts: 168The problem is that inflation and the 3000+ exchange rate has normalized the prices here. It's already expensive for a LATAM country and an additional 33% drop in exchange rates will make Colombia not worth it. The prices for food and alcohol at restaurants here is already more than many places in the US. Combine that with more expensive lodging and the only advantage it would have over Brazil would be the flight options.

The Brazilian real was 6.18 end of 2024 and is now 5.12, regardless of any uptick in the past months. The EUR was 0.97 end of 2024 and is now 0.86. It was 1.02 in 2022, extremely rare for the dollar to be more than the euro. And the answer to why this is happening is obvious.

It's more to do with the US dollar losing value as the Japanese and the Chinese are selling US securities.

Finally Cocaine is way up as far as it being sold abroad and as that money comes back into the Colombian economy that's probably the biggest help.
I'm no economist but that's generally what I see.
I would encourage frequent Colombia visitors to consider getting some kind of visa or finding a bank who will open a simple account there. A couple of months ago you could get up to 14% Interest on a Rappi Bank account. You could lock in a 12% Interest rate on a 6 month CD as well. The weirdness of Colombia is that a savings account earns more interest
than a CD which tells you all you need to know about the wild Inflation and currency swings with the Peso. Maybe 6 months from now we will be at 3500 to 1. Who knows?
Hope this Helps.
Trip.

Posts: 1194I've read that the high interest rates being paid by the banks in Colombia are attracting new foreign currency, thus lessening the need for the government to purchase USD.

Posts: 2018I'm not a big fan of overusing the dollar as a weapon (a moderate amount is ok). That said the USD index (opposite all trade currencies) is actually above its average since 1990.

I don't know what's going on with Colombia but there appears to be significant foreign flows into the country in the last few months.
Keep in mind the USD / Col rate was below 2,000 for virtually all of 2010 - 2014. Not saying it's going to go back there, but it certainly could.

Over the summer, I told ChatGPT some of the things that are important to me as I want to start being a bit more nomadic around LATAM. Monterrey came VERY high up on the list of cities based on the things that are important to me. Along with a few others in Mexico.

Posts: 176I have been keeping my fingers crossed that we'll eventually get back to 5,000, LOL. I hadn't started traveling to Colombia yet back then, so I didn't get to enjoy that.

One Mexican city that I think is even nicer than Medellin in Monterrey. And it has better food too haha! That said, Medellin blows Monterrey away when it comes to the "talent", if you know what I mean:

Posts: 94Medellin really is a nice city
I've been here a week, and I have to say, I really enjoy the place. I haven't been mongering much at all. Although I did have an 18 yo Psychology major from Bucaramanga yesterday. I really do need to post some reports.

I'm here mostly for medical stuff, so I've found myself in traffic during rush hours (morning, lunch and evenings), and I can't say that the traffic is terrible, compared to most places I've been. Like you won't get stuck for 2-3 cycles at a traffic light as an example.
Colombian food definitely isn't great, though. But there's lots of restaurants that serve other stuff so there's that. Trade-offs.
Besides how green the entire city is, I've been really impressed by how clean it is. Compared to most places I've been in the developing world, the streets are generally clean.
It's also only taken me a single week to understand why people here really fucking hate creep cams in El Centro, and bad behavior at Parque Lleras.
I've seen guys here say "Colombian people are proud", in a condescending kind of way. What I've seen is that the vast majority of people here are just decent people going on about their lives. I don't see a lot of social chaos: people queue up to use the ATM, or to pay for stuff at the store. They don't speaking loudly indoors. Are generally polite. Even the fucking motos are at a reasonable noise level! Having just left Santo Domingo where motos give you a headache, here you'll be surrounded by dozens on the roads and it isn't an unbearable racket.
Overall, you get the sense that Colombians aspire to live more sophisticated and classy lives than their country's economic reality can match. You simply cannot say that about most poorer countries. So it's easier to understand why they wouldn't take too kindly for their city / country to be depicted as some open air brothel. My other post was about how mature they are about sex, overall. Which I think a lot of guys take to mean that the entire place is a meat market and they can behave poorly with no consequence.
All of this kind of contrasts with how brutal and ruthless their criminal element is. It's a real dichotomy.
For what it's worth, I'm staying in Belen, where there's a more working class vibe. Not a lot of foreigners, or wealthy locals.

The ocean in Baja is as good as anywhere on the west coast. Ymmv alas the women in Baja do not compare to Colombia. Again, ymmv but If anyone has checked into the casa sites on catador Colombia the prices start around $60. Legit. You can spend more. If you are comfortable NOT going to a bar. Lounge or club. It's amazing, time consuming (slightly dangerous) but the talent is thru the roof. Lleras park not so much. Any comments?
