Posts: 14I was in Rio last weekend and early this week, I stayed in botafogo this time to be closer to centro. Total was 5 nights, had 4 sessions, 3 women plus 1 repeat.
2 trips to 4 x 4, 1st time I went in the late afternoon. About 15 women there and not many guests. More girls arrived, many of them introduced themselves but none really stood out to me. I like curves but not a fan of the enhancement. Eventually I spotted a blonde I really liked but she was handsy with what was likely a regular.
Had 2 beers and then a brunette, by name of Luana, sat down. 5'10 ish, big ass but goodlooking, long straight hair.
Promised to deliver what I wanted; DFK, BBBJ and CIM. So went with her. Ok session, she performed as promised but will not repeat. Not my cup of tea.
2 days later, I went in at around around 6 pm and a lot more people this time. More came and place looked packed when I left a couple of hours later. Bit of the same this time, lots of girls introduced themselves but none got me going. Later spotted a goodlooking girl with no enhanced either ass or breasts. Name was Diana, 5. 7 ish dark hair. I'd say normal body with a nice ass but in here she was a small, skinny girl in comparison.
Had a few beers and fun, she played around some and was easygoing. Didn't stress at all, in the end I was the one suggested to leave for the room.
Nice hour in the room, she delivered for sure. Have had better BJ's but the sex was good. I later repeated with her in my hotel room.
The last encounter was at a semi legit message parlor. I check a few websites of "masagem near me" and saw her photos. She is a tall morena, exotic face and gorgeous smile. I looked up the name and saw no mention of it on monger forums. I scheduled with her anyways and hoped for the best. I picked the cheapest 1 hour option and the price was 290. Once I saw her I knew I made the right choice. Her outfit was revealing and I knew I was about to fuck her. Once in the room, she already knew what was in my mind. She asked for 1000 for servicio sexual. I asked if that included included BBBJ, DFK and CIM. We ended up agreeing for BBBJ and DFK, no CIM for 800. I fucked her twice and got a massage in middle. She was the best looking one on this trip so far. I got her number and hope to repeat on my next trip.
Now my journey continues in SP.

Posts: 139The base of Santa Teresa hill somewhat safe for tourists. Those colorful stairs and its immediate surrounding areas are generally safe thanks to the police patrols.

They will rob you near a curve, while their accomplices make sure there aren't incoming traffic. This usually happen under broad daylight. And you will be left there in shock, no money, no phone, and no portu to get help.
No one should be hiking up the Santa Teresa hill. Take the tram once for the experience and spend the rest of your time in copa.
I think the square you mentioned is the Lapa Square, by the arcs. The square is down the hill from ST, so it's safer.

Posts: 1285This is such a shame because Santa Teresa was actually one of my favourite spots in Rio. After taking the trolley up there, walked to the Ruinas gallery than back to the main area for a coffee and snack to chill. Really enjoyed my morning up there but if it's now ruined because of these bastard robbers, Rio will have less and less for us when we are not mongering.

Posts: 14This happens daily in Rio. This is why tourists should stay near the beaches in Zona sur.

Posts: 3129Week in Baseball: reverse unfuckable fat bastard contest.
So vagabundo fucked twice last week for a cpfpm of 4 or 5, which is the big mac index on economist dot com. Someone with a subscription to that british rag post the full articles on the passport brothers please, and write to that rag taht there are passport sisters looking for the nude beaches in DR and Afrika, right, right?
Prive girl wanted to do sushi before fucking because she is getting old (late 20's), and vagabundo went out with his passport bros, who are all fat bastard unfuckable dudes of the same weight BMI profile to botece Ipanema (awesome view), and then the original boteco leblon, where we struck out 533 times, but last week, vagabundo did get a number of a blond who he ate out and who insisted on like 50 minutes of me eating her pussy, I gues file that under non pros, before fucking her 35 year old kunt.
I have been swimming, one hour today, last week 4 x 30 minutes, in the hyatt grand barra pool, and then we went to do water entry / exit at praia macumba posto 12 where they robbed some money from us because we did not have change, so lesson is get change before going out, but cheapest thing in the hotel shop at grand Hyatt is tooth past for 10 reais. Annoying.
Also doing capoeira with college rich girls which gets the cardio up to 2. 5 hours on any given weekday when the sex is mixed in.
That is a good sport, to which I invited Anne amari, who came, but of course, only when she was within hours of getting evicted from her favela apartment, so we went to a hotel and fucked twice, I came once, for 600 r, all in, 300 r to her, 233 to the hotel, and 100 r for uber. I lost it when she suggested I uber her to her next work location but she did not think of me, there, in a centro hotel, having to walk to public transport to get back to safety.
Here's to a peaceful yom kippur, we are in world war 4.
Safest place to be is rio de janeiro, if you are able to mitigate the risks of the local primates ripping off your balls and eyeballs and cell phone.

Posts: 14My preliminary research shows that Discovery logoed cards (incl. CapitalOne) should work on Elo network in Brazil. Elo claims to be widely accepted in BR.
I didn't bring a Discovery card, but maybe someone can try it out?
I will look next time for Elo logo. See how common it is.

Walk next door to the smart hotel, exact same card is rejected by all three of their stupid card machines. I pay by them and the garota in Wise Pix and the keep the Night moving.
Other times card was rejected by ATM or machine cause late night bradesco or santander bank don't dispense late night on brasilian holiday or other security reasons.
Now I have smoother payment process with Wise or Wallet or other PIX payment options. sometimes the cashier are
not familiar with the screen about selecting USD or BRL Reais
options
As experienced travelers mentioned carry more than one card. a few
times I had those credit card guys send me the physical card to the airbnb address in brasil.

Capital One sees it as a good business decision because now they no longer have to pay fees to Mastercard or Visa. Like AMEX, they now have their own payment processing network. I've had a Schwab investor checking account and the debit card that goes with it for years. Yes indeed, it should be an international monger's card of choice, or at least one of them. Never leave home to procure some pussy without it LOL!

Posts: 3538Yep. Get Fidelity or Schwab
Yep. Used to love Capital One. Then they changed my card to discover and it ceased to work anywhere internationally. What a fucking bonehead maneuver. On the plus side it caused me to get a Fidelity cash cad which rebates all ATM fees and pays like 3% on your balance. Schwab has a similar card.

They tell you to have proof of onward travel plus bank statements showing a balance of at least $2,000 dollars over the last three months. I had that information ready, but I wasn't asked to provide it. Maybe because I have been to Brazil many, many times with no issues. I don't know. I don't recall there being a mentioned requirement of proof of accomodations, but I would have all of this information ready to present just in case, including when you get to immigration upon arrival. Best to be prepared.

But eventually all Capital One cards will be processed through the Discover network, so this will be an issue when it comes to using those particular cards overseas in the future. Discover isn't as prominent worldwide. It's a phased in process that will occur over time. My original card was with Discover before Capital One bought the network, so I guess that's why I was in the first wave of Capital One cards to be under the Discover payment network. It was easy to do because that particular card was already in the network. I understand that newly issued Capital One cards carry the Discover logo. Eventually all of their cards will as they make the transition. Just something to be aware of.
