How are Pinays with receiving oral? Thai women it is hit or miss but last time I was there it was mostly hit. Will I get a good meal with the girls of the islands?

Posts: 8126More NAIA. Biometric immigration (considerably faster when I used them in my home country). Its quick, with no officer and no questions. You scan your PP photo page and in about 10 seconds, you either get a green light (pass) or a red light (secondary in-person screening).

Suggest you double check all your phone settings.
Good luck. G.

Posts: 773Same here, since covid, I am semi retired, and only do visits to PI every 6 months. Wish I could get my mayapay to work, since they added the OTP thing, I haven't been able to rely on mayapay to work.

Posts: 5169I'm the same. To be honest, the frequency of my visits has dropped off so I could easily get a new number each time but stepping off the plane with load, data, grab, MayaPay etc is worth the few dollars a year to keep everything active.

Posts: 773I don't ever let it get empty. It dies for various reasons, I can't really pinpoint which one it is. And yes even if it has load, and the date is still good for another 6 months, it has died on me before. I suspect it just needs some activity once in a while. So right now I add a little load every month or so, make sure I set ROAM ON for both globe and smart when I am away. I think its important to allow the sim to hit a tower every so often. Pretty sure if you have valid load, but are away from the PI for too long and don't have roam on and only use wifi, it will die, as it has for me before. I might be a little paranoid, but setting up a new sim and gcash if it dies is a hassle.

Posts: 8126If you don't make a call, txt, or use some data, there is a calendar-days limit. In the old days it was 90 days, but after covid they increased it. I don't think load amount matters. After the number of days unused the number expires. I thought that it was 365 days now. Out of the country I tried calling using the Smart SIM, but nothing happened. Same with txt or internet, nothing. I had to load a roaming promo (p150 I think), good for 3 stinking days. I made a txt from my country to Phils to keep the thing alive. That was around May of last year. Also my GC died on me about the same time. I kept getting "GC Welcomes you to YOUR COUNTRY!" notices me from the GC app. "Enjoy GC as you normally would in Phils on any wifi in YOUR COUNTRY". But after 30 days, GC stopped working and I had to Roam (again) every 30 days to get it working again. Great!

Posts: 5169Just so I'm clear, was it terminated due to being empty of load for a long time or while you had load but didn't use it.

Globe: Your SIM can expire if you haven't used it for a year since your last top-up. Additionally, if your balance reaches zero and you don't reload or use it for 120 days, it can be deactivated.

DITO: This is the strictest among the major players. A SIM will expire if it is not reloaded or used for 90 days.
⚖65039; The "Prepaid Load Forever Act".
There has been a long-running push in the Philippine Congress to stop load credits from expiring. Bills like the "Prepaid Load Forever Act" aim to prohibit telcos from imposing expiration dates on prepaid load and forfeiting credits on active accounts.
The proposed compromise is that if an account becomes dormant (inactive for at least 1 year), the telco can deduct ₱1 per day from the remaining load until it runs out, rather than just wiping the balance clean. However, as of now, this is still proposed legislation and not the current rule.
How to Keep Your SIM Active.
To prevent your SIM from being deactivated and losing your number, make sure to perform at least one of these actions within the required timeframe:
Top up even a small amount (like ₱5 or ₱10).
Send a text message or make a call.
Use mobile data to browse or connect to an app.
If a SIM is deactivated, you usually cannot reactivate it. The number is returned to the pool for reassignment, and any remaining load credit is typically lost.

Posts: 5169Has anyone had their Globe Sim card cancelled for inactivity? I've received a generalist SMS saying that I should use it or loose it even though I have P600 of laid that doesn't expire until April 2027.
Can I just continue to buy topups before expiry or do I need to use the account?
"Are you still there?
Remember to top up or register to a Globe promo regularly to keep your Globe Prepaid SIM active. SIMs without load activity for an extended period may be at risk of expiration. ".
Enjoy. G.

Anyway, I do need advice on how to be able tu use my Wells Fargo CC in a simple way again, works fine for direct payments, but for about a year now whenever I do an online payment anywhere in SEA the "verified by visa" "let's make sure it's you" pops up regardless of the amount and purchase, hotel, flight, Bolt, Uber, Grab, etc. and I have to do the SMS, switch eSIM, open the bank app procedure, which is not feasible while on the street looking for a ride, I called the bank multiple times, and they're saying is not them.
