Your marking on wikimapia is helpful but request you to do little more for guys like me wo don't know Hindhi / Bengali. Some shops with english name boards helps. Example like "a lane next to HDFC ATM","backside of Exide showroom" etc can be marked. Don't post phone no in wiki, use PM instead.

I totally agree with you my friend, I have had some of the best experiences in SG in the non-premium buildings. The girls here really try to satisfy you since they know if they don't you will never be back. A 2nd option is MG road crossing near mosque. You will find many guesthouse in range of 200-40 0&AC For 500. Delux, rajasthan, ambassador and area executive guesthouses. Hotel himalaya is middle range 800. This location is good for eating too veg&nonveg. Sweet and snacks. From here you can take tram buse auto or metro to sg. If anyone has other places, please report.

This is one of the major lapses on sg. No hotel in this area about 2-3 km. You can stay in howrah hotels &then take ferry to ahirtolaghat. After walking 5 min you will enter in bkpal avenue, northen entry to sg!

assorted gems in sg (places where i have been less than 5 times) :
