Thanks for the info H69. I will probably give Kadoebi a miss as I really am not interested in paying ¥20000 for an an older, not very attractive woman, Japanese or otherwise. What I would really like to find in Shibuya is a HE-guaranteed type of good-quality massage place, a la Asian Feeling. If any of you know of this type of place in Shibuya, do give a shout.

Over the past few months, I have been selectively trying the 'Relaxation massage' places on Dogenzaka that have signs in front. However, so far, all of them I've tried are paper-panty required, offering slightly titilating 60 min 'soft touch' massage, but ultimately no HE, for around ¥7000-10, 000. The search continues.

One thing I can say about Kadoebi is that the website pictures are pretty accurate including the measurements. Old and not attractive is not a barrier for me. They seem to try harder than young hot ones I've had, but that's just my preference. Those places in Dogenzaka are a waste of money. I prefer to know exactly what I'm getting before I pay anything. If you speak directly to the tencho using indirect nuanced language you can usually get a sense of what the expectation is with respect to HJ or BJ. Honban is something I usually don't talk about directly unless I know it's a Chinese place and they don't care. I never broach the subject in a Japanese health or soap.

It has always been offered BB but I always insisted on covered. It's always up to the girl but I find most of the Korean ones are pretty reckless in this regard.

The difference is you get FS and pay Y5000 or more than NYNY or Champs extra for the service. You also get mat service included, just like any other soap. Service has always been OK, nothing extraordinary or memorable but plenty OK. For Y15000-Y21000 it is OK but not a bargain. The main thing is you are getting a Japanese lady for the premium over the Chinese and Korean places. Don't expect some 20-something hot thing, though. You will be very disappointed. And, you have to deal with the rejection if they are willing to service foreigners.

In Shibuya, I normally use Gimpeur, which is bit hit and'miss in terms of quality of service, but overall more hit than miss. I have also tried a couple of the Dogenzaka 'Relaxation' Massage places that have signs on the street, but I haven't managed to get more than a nice 60 min massage (wearing that ridiculous paper t-back panty) for around ¥8000 in any of them-in other words, no HE was offered.

I do walk by the Shibuya Kadoebi store quite often, but have never ventured in. I do understand from your post that it is unpredictably Gaijin friendly. That said, could you give an idea of your experience at that branch. Eg, the gals (looks and service) and the total standard price.

I've been going to these type of Korean akasuri places regularly for many years and that's standard service.

You may find a girl who is dirty and likes you and gives extra service, especially as you get to know her over many visits. I've had some quite wild experiences but these girls come and go regularly so even if you do establish something it's hard to keep it going.

BTW you shouldn't have akasuri more than once a month.

So, after my last very enjoyable visit to this establishment, I thought I would go on a field trip to see if any further mileage could be received at this place. I returned and the mama-san that I met last week was not on. Instead it was a tencho who was polite. I gave him my points card which he stamped and I once again selected the 100 minute session. I wanted to see Aiya again but she was already with a customer. The tencho showed me two others that were available. Both very cute young Korean women. And so I chose MiKi. She looked just like the picture. Once again I had an incredible table shower and a very good massage with oil, hot towels, walking on the back. At the end, I tried to see if there was anything more than just a HE available but from her response, it certainly didn't appear so. It was my first time with her (that's why I wanted to see Aiya) but I suspect it's a HR release only type of place (albeit with a very cute naked young Korean woman providing the service). I might need to try the shorter, less expensive courses to see if the HE is the same. If so, I don't think I'll be returning to Kanda any time soon.

Maybe I'm dense. Are you all talking about a specific branch or the entire chain? They vary from lower end to medium. The lower end places have always been hit or miss depending on who is working at the time, the shift and the tencho you talk to. The Shibuya store is the one I'm most familiar with. I've had about 75% success rate there but have been flat turned down even though I am a semi-repeat customer. The regular tencho I always deal with has no problems with me but another guy just waves me off without much discussion.

Hi Geezer. I read your comment but it sort of confused me. If the recession were hitting them finally, wouldn't they be more inclined to take Gai-jin, all things being equal since yen from Gai-jin is the same and yen fron Nihon-jin?
