I tried Secret Spa this afternoon and was sadly disappointed, So far the Blue Room is the clear winner for places near Laureles. At this point, I'd not go anywhere else around Laureles, though I've only been there once. My gut says central is the best place to go. Did a cruise through there Sunday afternoon with a friend. At the Blue room, I had a very cute and enthusiastic young girl, a nice big room, a shower before and after and even sex furniture!

And just for comparison, as there was a great review of Medellin by a guy that had never been to Thailand a week or so ago there is absolutely no comparison between the scene in SEA and MDE. Without too much effort in BKK or Pattaya, you can find whatever it is your looking for, I mean whatever! With exponentially better service at a much better price. I'm not complaining mind you, I'm happy to be living someplace where the game is legal. And there is no way I'd participate here the way I did there. And it gives me a reason to go back to SEA for a visit.

OK I've been to Secret Spa and walked away. The hostess on the first floor was drop-dead gorgeous (less than 5 ft and 100 lbs) but she took me to meet the girls upstairs. Nice if you like bigger & taller girls. She said she doesn't session so. I went to Energy! That is the place in Laureles that you need to go. A little awkward to find for sure but they have a big line-up (take a pencil / pen and paper) and you'll see something you like. Not cheap but very good looking girls and nice clean rooms with showers. Definitely the go-to place in Laureles.

I have been to Thailand and Indonesia in addition to the Philippines and I have found that the girls in those countries like to hang out with foreigners. I understand the same goes for Cambodia and other South East Asian countries as well.

I've never been to Indonesia and Cambodia. Thai girls will hang with you but (at least in my experience) they still expect you to have the baht handy for quick transfer whereas the Filipinas are a bit more *shy* about asking for pesos even though ALL women want the money for doing the deed.

Some people play golf with their doctors, go hunting with their lawyers and take in a ball game or two with their accountants. "Hookers" are young women who have souls and emotions and a need for human interaction beyond simply laying on their backs as a guy twice their age humps them.

I think you will have few problems moving as a group in places like Lleras / Poblado / Provenza. You will also be OK in tourist oriented zones like Guatape etc, or in large public spaces like Botero Plaza. In grittier areas of Centro or anywhere off the beaten track, you are better breaking the group up into two to four guys to avoid attracting too much of the wrong attention. You would be generally safe but ne'er do wells would try to take advantage of anyone who lags or appears more impaired than the core group, rather like wolves do with flocks of sheep. Yes I've seen this too. I know a hooker in Cartagena who used to be super bubbly and happy. She was the happiest and nicest person I'd ever met there. Evidently, some monger broke her heart and "left" her. She turned into a miserable * Even her friends tell me she's completely changed.

It happens to the chica and the extranjero. Personally, I think it's a giant waste of time. Like that Cartagena chica was hooking the entire time she was chasing that guy. What's the point of a hooker girlfriend?

Some guys swear up and down that the Casa Blanca girls are still taking 150 k without complaint. Other guys (myself included) are having a harder and harder time getting the girls to take 150 k without demanding taxi money coming and going, regalos, propinas or just straight up 200 K+.

Either the 150 k guys are lying, handsome, built like fitness trainers, amazing lovers or regulars coming down monthly or those of us who are having trouble getting the women to stick to 150 k are ugly, smelly, fat, terrible in bed or just fell off the turnip truck newbies.

Whatever it is breakfast time at the big table is always interesting when the subject comes up.

More experienced mongers tend to develop the sense to walk away if they don't like the deal they're getting. They realize how much their money is worth in local terms and don't want to be taken for a fool. Newer mongers (or guys down for a long weekend) tend to pay up. This is a generalization but it's what I've found over many years in this hobby.

The counterintuitive point is that if you're willing to walk away, you usually won't have to. Looks, language ability, etc might or might not help a bit, but they aren't crucial for most prepagos.

I doubt it happens much with guys that do nothing but short time. But when you sleep with the same chicks night after night and they let you into their personal lives it can and does happen.

I now draw a line at meeting a chick's mother and their children. In fact just not getting involved with women with children is probably the best way to avoid those kinds of situations.

How is this confusing you? There was time to kill before the movie. I walked her into Falabella. I was thinking of spending 50 k or so. Not exactly breaking the bank. After 5 minutes in the store, we walked out. She wouldn't even look at anything. I know it was the first time anyone has taken her to a movie and I think it's the first time anyone has taken her shopping. Total amount of money spent $0.00 (or 0.000.00 COP).

There are regular reviews from guys who bring a few hundred dollars worth of gifts every trip and give them out to girls from Raudel to Lleras. There's even guys who fly girls they barely know from Medellin to Cartagena for a 5 day trip. There's guys who take chicas to San Andres, Cancun, Curacao, etc. All good. But if I spend about 100 k extra for dinner, popcorn and movie and end up with a TLN experience for what guys are dropping for 1 or 2 hours, I'm caught up in the fantasy?

Here's reality:

Each of these girls have their abilities and limitations, rules, restrictions and expectations. I understand and accept that. I'm not giving Victoria's Secret panties to a Raudel streetwalker. I'm not taking a girl from a casa or strip club to La Causa for dinner. I'm not taking a mileroticos girl to Cartagena. Why? Because such gifts are wasted. The streetwalker will be trading the panties for glue tomorrow, or her pimp will. The casa girl has no idea how to behave in a nice restaurant and 9/10 are going to show up inappropriately dressed.

As for flying a girl anywhere. I have friends that do it, but I don't see any relationship of that sort in my immediate future.

However, there are a few girls who will happily spend the night, without asking for more money at 3 or 9 am. There are girls who don't hear "ka-ching" each time you bust a nut. There are girls who, although they need the money, they enjoy the time spent with someone who treats them like a regular girl.

And just like a regular girl back in the US, if you put just a tiny bit of effort into making these girls feel special, they'll show you just how much they appreciate your effort.
