5 FB girls. Did a 3 some with Daniella great performer with her friend. Saw a couple other ones average session was 200 k with my special request for number of leches time etc.

I am early 40's and while I'm not the greatest looking guy I'm not ugly and I still date hot women in the states.

So my conclusion is this. Many men on this board have completely different taste and judgement in women.

Now I don't know any member or seen them. So this is not to offend anyone.

But to give an example I am guessing many members here are in the bracket of age 50-70 and past their prime as far as "the dating game" I think your definition of an 8 would be someone who is my bracket 30-40's still in the dating game and able to date attractive girls in their mid 20's we would think they are prob a 5-6.

The more and more I have read many diff boards and seen all the pics.

At the end of the day you get what you pay for and it's as simple as that. Yes many girls will negotiate and get desperate at times.

I'm sure you guys will get many great deals along the way.

But for all the guys saying you get model type girls for 200 k and banged them all night and did this and that I would say 90% of the time your model who you think is a 9 is quite simply a 6 in my book and only worth 150 k.

I post an honest trip report and I read and get messages about how dumb I am for paying 200 $ for a girl in Gustos. I'm not saying she was all that in the looks department but I felt like it was 200 $ well spent. So when you call those people insulting names it's just pure hate and jealously.

What's up fellas. I'm staying in El Poblado with my lady. I know, why bring sand to the beach? Because I had no other choice. I'm staying near Park Manila and was hoping some of you guys could recommend some nearby (walking distance) daytime options. It's my first time in Colombia and most of the places I've read about are mostly nighttime friendly and out of my travel radius. I have no contacts here so I cannot use the "I'm going to catch up with a buddy" excuse. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I speak almost perfect Spanish so that's not a barrier.

Regular women, at least from what I saw in Medellin, rarely go to clubs alone. They also rarely pay attention to middle aged gringos, unless the middle aged gringos are throwing lots of money around. They will be sociable. It's not difficult to talk to them. They just aren't likely to initiate a conversation with the typical gringo monger.

Why hesitant to hit Gusto alone? I can understand being hesitant to hit La Copa del Rey (an El Centro bar) alone, but Gusto is gringo ground zero. There will probably be other gringos who are there alone. Certainly there will be working girls there who will be happy to introduce themselves. As ColombiaLover said, if the come up and talk to you, or make heavy eye contact and smile, they're in the game and for $200, sometimes less, they'll make you happy.

Then again, why go there at all? A walk around Parque Lleras and you'll find dozens of other clubs and chances are good you'll find a few working girls in most, or you'll be able to see them working their way up and down the streets. You'll also find that their prices will be $100 or less. $67 and $50 are possible. That's roughly 300, 200 and 150 k in local currency vs. 600 k at Gusto.

Of course, if you want to see everything MDE has to offer, you'll need to walk by La Copa Del Rey and El Rey de Copas and about 40 other bars in El Centro. You'll find working girls in almost every one and their prices run from 30 k to 100 k. Most won't be dressed as nice as the girls in Gusto, but plenty look just as good. And you can find them at 2 pm instead of 11 pm.

However, wandering around El Centro alone can be intimidating. Especially if the toothless one legged hooker comes hopping up to you.

200 USD is for punters who don't know prices. On my last visit to MDE which I wrote about a chica asked for 600 k and I walked away. I saw her the SAME NIGHT at The Beer store and she agreed to 200 k.

That's how it works, they get 600 k from one of the bobos at Gustos, then go to another place and will accept much less since some bobo already made her night. Since he kicked in an extra 200 for me, she averages 400 per session. LOL.

The Tall Man stays almost clear of parque lleras however from time to time I hang with some friends who just need to see it so, over the past 8 years I have visited the clubs and bars probably twice a year on average and maybe a total of 4 times in Gustos over the past 4 years, my point is that my expectation ANY women in Gustos is that she IS A PREPAGO unless she proves otherwise. So my experience is that 99% are prepagos.

Well Uncle these guys are spot on. I went in there on Friday but there were so many people guys and girls that I really didn't know who was the pro vs regular girl with her brother there. I spent a lot of time just people watching. Girls would walk up to me and flirt but none mentioned sex! They just would say Hi and act normal. I like women that are blunt. I feared asking a regular girl if she was a pro. I messaged a chica from prepagos before I went out. She responded that she was at one the clubs right down the street. I left to go meet her. She was where my dart landed that night so I never got a chance to get another price quote in Gustos. Now I'm very curious. I'm going over Halloween. I wonder how that will affect prices??

It's been over a year since I was in that barrio. It is about 4-5 blocks East of Parque Bolivar. Their (Divine) hours are 12-7 M-Sat and 12-4 Sun and holidays. You shouldn't have any particular problems during those hours.

But there is a caveat. Have you read the forum extensively? Are you planning on wearing shorts, designer shades, gold chains, pulling out your I-phone X every 30 seconds? Because if you do things like that you might.

Just as well carry a billboard sign saying "Hey Medellin, I'm a gringo, come and get me" and they will. But, if you dress casual like Colombians, keep your phone in your pocket or judiciously pick your places to pull it out.

Keep your money in a money-belt or a hidden pocket and pay attention to what's around you. I don't imagine you would have the slightest problem.

Nah I will be wearing dark sweats and a t-shirt. And I will tell my boy to leave the shorts at home. I've been to mde twice but haven't venture out to casas. Thanks for the advice.

Due to my lack of Spanish, I'm not in the mood for a turn down so I play it cool and stand where I can be seen and eye fish. Here comes the blonde. Could easily pass for white a white 26 year old from Wisconsin. But had hips like an ATL stripper. She was very tall probably due to her high heels and had an rump like a horse. She had a slightly chubby face but not fat or out of shape. Just naturally built like a stallion. Of course I was traveling to MDE alone. Women seem to hone in on the loan wolf in my opinion. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are discount days at the short-term hotels and escort sites like La Celestina.

I doubt the Gusto's chica would meet anyone for 200 k on a Friday or Saturday night after 23:00. The Gusto's chica might meet a guy on a Tuesday for 200 k because her opportunity cost is lower. If her probability of having a guy take her out of Gustos on a Tuesday for $200 is less than 33% she should take the freelance job.

This is very true. Prices on Wednesday is a big difference than prices on Friday or Saturday night.
