It depends on what you're planning on paying them. If you're thinking to give them 30-40 k, no. They aren't going to spend 1.5 hours in taxis to go to Poblado for a 20 minute session.

If you're planning on offering 200 k, then some will probably be willing, but many will still turn you down.

If you're just wanting El Centro girls to come to your apartment, rent a place in El Centro. If you want to stay in Laureles and Poblado and still only want to see El Centro girls, go to El Centro and do them there. If you want to be in Poblado or Laureles and want girls in your apartment, use online sources: Facebook, Tinder, Mileroticos, Photoprepagos, etc.

Most Colombians are not going to want to let someone utilize their Cedula or rent on someone else'e behalf. Because if the person who is supposedly paying the rent, utilities, cable, etc. Doesn't pay in Colombia, they will get flagged in the system. As an example, if a Colombian has a bill with EPM the utility company from an apartment they had previously had and didn't pay the bill. Guess what, EPM will not provide them with new service until their paid.

I 'm not saying you can't do what your suggesting, I'm just pointing this out, as it may difficult to find someone to do what you want to do, especially a Chica.

It's not as easy to do as some might think, especially for those renting an unfurnished apartment which does not include utilities, etc.

In other words, if your not going thru a company that rents furnished apartments including utilities like CASACOL or LIFEAFAR, it's going to be difficult for a foreigner to rent an unfurnished apartment like a Colombian. Unless the owner of the apartment is a foreigner, or perhaps something on AIRBNB, your going to have to have a Colombian Cedula to rent from a Colombian. And you will not be able to get utility service thru EPM without a Cedula, nor will you be able to get cable service thru CLARO or TIGO unless you get someone with a Colombian Cedula to sign up the account on your behalf and be responsible if the bills aren't paid under their "name".

Basically, without a Colombian Cedula, it can be very difficult for a foreigner to rent an apartment like a Colombian.

A good thought on your part, makes perfect sense as you suggested, but in reality tough to do.

I applied for Global Entry twice.

Denied both times, with no reason or information.

I had a DUI about 11 years ago. I thought I had read there was a wait time of 10 years before being allowed to obtain Global Entry after such a conviction. I got my interview done at LAX, upon arrival from an international flight. The CBP officer asked me if I had been to North Korea (apparently a mistake I made in the application). I told him no, I have been to South Korea. It seemed to be corrected, right then, but who knows. I have also been to Cuba, but likely did not report that.

I'm wondering what some of your opinions might be as to why I have been rejected. It's merely a convenience, so I can't see myself writing a Senator, but I'm still curious.

Somewhat unrelated: Avianca is the fucking worst. Just the worst. They have almost a 100% success rate of misplacing, damaging, or misplacing my luggage, and their customer service is terrible.

I too hate Avianca. In 2006 I arrived for check in at MIA just less than an hour before takeoff and those cunts denied me making me wait until the next day and charging me extra.

Regarding your Global entry challenge 'Yes' I believe if you incorrectly marked North versus South Korea would be a major red flag if for anything not catching this before you clicked 'Send' (not busting you happens to us all). Not reporting Cuba probably didn't help either. Think the DUI thing is past now.

Before contacting your Senator or Congress-person try a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request against CPB Agency. May cost some $ but in your request ask the status and if denied the reason why. Then depending on their reply I WOULD raise the concern with your USA Representative. Merely submitting a FOIA may make them jump through hoops and approve you.

I think you meant to say inDriver, which is in fact the latest ride sharing app used by many in Colombia. It's a little different than Uber since you get to set a price for your trip and the available drivers can accept or counter your price and you can either accept their offer or counter it as well. Payments are done in cash. It's usually more reliable and little cheaper than Uber, but not always. Regular drivers and taxis use the app as well to get more business. Normally, I'll go on uber and see how much it would cost then I'll set a lower price on inDriver and 9 out 10, someone would take it. I wouldn't recommend it for first time or short term visitors, but for long term people the savings can add up.

The latest transportation app in Medellin seems to be Driver. And several girls I know use it. But I want to warn you a little. I went with one of my chicas tonight to dinner at La Pampa in Laureles (Jardin). We took a Driver from my apartment in Laureles (near Jumbo) and the cost was 12,000 COP. I thought I got ripped off by the guy, but the return trip, with another Driver guy, was the same. I mention this because the distance was not very far. For context, I can take a cab from here to Lleras for 13,000 COP (and it's a much longer drive). Obviously we are not talking about a lot of money, but for those who think they will save money using Driver, it may not always be the case.

Check the Global Entry web site. It and all other trusted traveler program materials state very plainly that omissions or inaccurate information on an application are grounds for disqualification. You mention you may have stated that you visited North Korea on your application and you mention that you visited Cuba but you may not have included that information. This is why you are ineligible.
