I agree. I have always have lot's of energy for sex on an empty stomach, but sex on a full stomach really slows me down and I get so lazy in bed. That is why I prefer to eat afterwards and if I like the girl I will invite her to accompany me. Agreed a pig fest especially with large portioned starchy dishes doesn't help energy levels and can end up with Jack laid out and Jill trying her best to get a pop out of him. Personally I find rice in particular slows me so if it's a pre-show meal I tend to stick to the tried and tested lean meat two veg option after which I'm good to go.

The success or otherwise of taking a girl to dinner can depend a lot on her being able to speak your lingo which usually means English and her willingness and ease sharing her story and her feelings. If she spends the time on her phone and isn't interested in communicating that makes for an uncomfortable vibe.

To be perfectly honest the bouncers probably saved you some money. If you like the young cute innocent types that East Asian dudes usually go for, those girls in Rainbow (specifically RB3 & RB4) and Baccara (ground floor) basically only look for Asian customers, and every once in a while, a white guy.

I don't get the argument taking a working girl to dinner is a waste of time and money and means nothing to her. I agree taking her to a high end overpriced restaurant will not impress her any more than taking her somewhere more reasonably priced and importantly serves food she likes. In my opinion it does make a difference for both parties and results in a better experience back in the room. The stereotypical image of the money grubbing uneducated uncultured country girl only good for fucking is sadly all too prevalent particularly among the older, more tired and generally disgruntled with life mongers. If you are willing to pay her for her time why not spend some of it getting to know her over a plate of som tam and a glass of the house wine. Interesting view. Yes although Thai girls have to think about money, there is all range of personalities, from semi-hooker to hardened hooker. Casual part time hookers were more prevalent yesteryear. I got a several days sick dose of food poisoning once, after allowing the well known MP girl to choose an Italian restaurant in Soi 19. Yeah this is right on. My Thai friends would say the same about themselves (I have to assume these girls don't feel too different). Agreed. Now for an unpopular opinion: Some guys arrive in Thailand carrying their western values and think that all working girls are poor and have never experienced the good life. So these guys take the girls out to a 1,500 THB dinner thinking they're the girls' knight in shining armor. If I may offer a possible reason some first time Bkk punters might think a special dinner in a fancy restaurant is in order for some of these Thai girls; look at their photos and profiles on the dating sites from ThaiCupid and ThaiFriendly all the way down to booty call sites like Tinder. LOL. Many of the girls, including upfront honest Freelancers, feature pics of themselves glammed up in cocktail dresses, raising a long stemmed wine glass at a table with an ice bucket and a champagne bottle wrapped in linen!

I have lost count of how many Thai hookers on those sites post pics of themselves standing in front of the Eiffel Tower or on a gondola in Venice! LOL. And not selfies. Some dude who has taken them there is unseen behind the camera phone.

I agree with some. I once took Mrs to expensive French restaurant. She did not understand the food really, and was upset about how many thousand baht wasted on the bill.

She likes Japanese, now that I got her used to raw fish, however Fuji is really at the shitty end of the Japanese spectrum, okay For Thai girls that don't know any better. A vastly higher quality can be found. Fuji is sort of pretending to be Japanese but you won't see Japanese guys eating there, I think.

You certainly are an optimist when it comes to girl earnings. I found the band with Philippine singers at Corner Bar Soi Cowboy, that starts up after midnight to be reasonably talented (at least acceptable sound to my ears), and taking requests. The before midnight band was just heavy metal out of tune yelling. Hopeless.

I agree with you 100%. Contrary to some guy's beliefs, that little Thai girl we're with likely makes more money than we do. Their income is tax free. A top gogo girl gets 5000 for LT plus 500 tip, let's say she cleared 20 drinks in a night that's another 1000 baht, then she is paid for her contract say 1000 baht each night although in many cases it's more. Then she has maybe 3+ sponsors each giving her maybe 30,000 per month (1000 per night). That totals 8500 baht ($279 USD) per night with no taxes. That's over 100,000 USD net per year. I'm certain not many guys make that much.

This doesn't only apply to gogo girls. In the Good Old days of 2016, I knew some top massage and Soi 6 girls who saw 8 customers per day. Even at 1,000 plus 100 tip, they made $289 USD net per day.
