I'm not going to belabor the point. Guys are going to pay what they want to pay. I find it entertaining how creative some of the justifications are. I think it boils down to what the girls think they can get away with. If you are a foreigner and / or an unfamiliar face the girls will go for the gold and, based on what I've been reading here lately, they are getting it.

I am yet to visit Medellin but have viewed quite a few videos showing the street scenes in El Centro etc. I am confused by working girls standing outside shops. My understanding was that there are casa in this area but am not sure why girls are standing outside normal looking shops, such as cafe, restaurant etc.

Are you supposed to negotiate with the girl and head to a love motel or a room in these shops or casas?

Can someone please let me know how it works?

Well the cat's out of the bag, too many gringos now screwing the place up overpaying. And it's because of the Pandemic and Asia being closed. It's also happening in other places in the World that are open to mongering, like Tijuana where pricing has gone up.

I think things might be loosening up because Thailand is up to the point where Thailand just cannot afford to keep shut down anymore. Since June or July they have been doing this "sandbox" thing where they focused a larger effort on supplying vaccines to the local people in Phuket and allowing tourists in to Phuket only and the rourists had to jump through some hoops like show vacccine record and negative Covid tests I think, anyway this was no great thing for mongers becuase they did not allow bars and intertainment places open but now in true Thailand fashion the bars and entertainment venues on Bangla Road in Patong Beach are opening up as "restaurants" -

so it'll be interesting to see if the authorities crack down on them (anyone who frequents Thailand can attest that the police have as much to gain as the local venues do) it'll be interesting to see if they let this stand and if it turns the place back to normal. I have been to Bangla road and I have been to El Centro Medellin and I dare say that even though Bangla road is no walking street in Pattaya the sheer number of girls there is still probaby 50 -1 over El Centro. So it would be better for those who usually frequent Asia

Had one last night that was lame. 30 K and yea mechanical. Its worth it for me to spend this money and know that I will never do here again.

This morning had that cute vene, I just like her attitude. Still kinda new to the area, but getting use to it. Yea there are fenced in places and its much safer than what I remember. More police, Last night seen about 12 female cops lookig, talking to some person that looked to be mentally ill. Cops cruz Calle and Carrera 52 all the time at night, but up till a certain point. Like maybe 11 pm or so, more or less. Guess it depends on how busy they are. This does not mean its totally safe, just safer.

El Colombiano and other local outlets are reporting his nationality as Dominican. I'm guessing that means he had a green card and lived in the United States but he was not a citizen.

Well we had spoken two days before out there so I assumed it was 200 because that's we talked about. Just got back from El Centro. Can't understand why anyone would be scared of visiting there during the day.

6 months ago it was dangerous and 6 months from now it may well be dangerous again. The city put fencing around a large area about 4 weeks ago with police at the entrances and check out (look in pockets and backpacks) of all the undesirables. Currently, this is the safest I have seen in the 3 years I have visited while 6 months ago was the most dangerous. Things change quickly here. Seems as if they had a hiring frenzy. So many female police I see now.

Yesterday I saw the short skinny girl (not midget) passing by behind Nutribara Hotel. She's back from Pereira.

Few days ago. The street girl who waits all day for customers outside the entrance of Hotel Botero Boulevard (across from the church) told me that a foreigner ran like hell out of there before the police came to question and take away the two girls (age guestimate of 23 and 15). The Day of Love and Friendship is celebrated the third Saturday of September every year in Colombia. This is essentially the Valentine's Day of Colombia.

This is a traditional celebration in Colombia in which lovers, husbands and wives, couples and friends express their love and affection.

If you know any girl in this country that is more than a straight up puta to you then you might consider acknowledging the day with some token, it just could be a card or a flower or of course money never hurts, any amount. I have sent girls I knew simply an email wishing them a happy day and it was always well-received. If you do not at least acknowledge the day to any girl in your life who is more than an acquaintance to you then it will be considered an offense and rude. This includes friends and not just romantic relationships..
