I am think about making my first trip to Costa Rica, not specifically for mongering but of course would like to check out a few locals. I don't remember seeing anything in the forum about driving, and wondered if it was advisable for a gringo to rent a car and drive around from place to place.

Unfortunately, I can't add anyone else to my flat reservation, but I did notice that security doesn't check the boots of the cars. I'm hiring a car for at least one day / night, so if I really want to bring a different girl back, all I have to do is find a girl who's willing to hide in the boot of my car hire while I drive us through the security gate and to my rental far away from the entrance, LOL.

Booked an Airbnb in Jaco, and I knew going into it that bringing chicas back to the flat would be difficult. 24 hour security and gate. Luckily, my Uber driver to Jaco had a lifelong friend who works the Jaco clubs. She was beautiful in the photos he showed me, so we did a 5 minute detour to her town for a quick meet and greet. I knew I wanted to spend time with her, so I was able to add her as my second guest to my reservation, but had to do it many hours before her arrival (long process). She didn't mind giving me her real name and ID info, which the guard carefully checked when she eventually arrived.

The 22 yo girl was even prettier after she got dolled up, and she was fun to drink with, and dance with at the condo and have her twerk and grind on me. I was very attracted to her, but the sex was only slightly above average. Minus points for no BBBJ, and no kissing. Also, even though I booked her for two hours, she tried to pull some BS and claim I only got one cum for the two hour period. After our time at the flat, we rode together in an Uber to Cocal. Security made her wait in line, but waved me in, and I didn't see her after that. Cocal is a bit overwhelming and chaotic. I definitely prefer the places I usually frequent (Divas in London, and saunaclubs in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). At least in the saunaclubs and the London incalls, I don't have to worry about bringing them back to wherever I'm staying and then get them out of there when I'm done with them. And also, there is straightforwardness and consistency in pricing and services delivered in Europe. That being said, there were definitely some amazing beauties at Cocal. I have been to Jaco 2 times in last year and the costs for the girls in Cocal is always between $100-150. I have never been able to get pricing less than that..

Things are expensive as the girls say in the CR.

The ones that have self respect and think of themselves as value won't go below the rate you quoted.

However, around the place especially with Nicas there are bargains to be had. Keep in mind many CR girls don't like Nicas and you may find them at Cocal, but they are often not wanted around by the other girls. They are also often in the country illegally looking for work and will accept much less.

I was surprised when I lived there learning about the culture and many CR folks view Nicas as a cursed people and don't want them anywhere in their country. I found them to be sweet and amazing but they were viewed very negatively. I'm not sure how management feels at cocal but the girls run their own hierarchy. So many Nicca girls hang around outside the place. One warning however, sometimes the girls travel to CR with their men and the men are in the shadows and I saw one become very very jealous one time.

Hey guys, I'm planning to be in Jaco next month, but will be at a hotel that doesn't allow unregistered guests. Are there any hourly rooms available for bringing chicas to, if I find any I like at Cocal, Orange bar, etc?

If there are no short term rooms, then it looks like my only incall options are the massage places or the G-Spot strip club, based on RTFF. Will post reports after I get there. Cheers.

However during day I have gotten girls around that area for under a $100 and the same girls in Cocal I have gotten outside in that area at night for way better than 2 bens. If you are fun ymmv.

My long time tica novia had a sis that was super popular and the girls would be cool with her, but one of their other GF, s got a knife pulled on her by another girl. Also the Panamanian chicas seem to overcharge starting at at least $200 but the best bargains are Nicas who sometimes you can get for $50. I guess it all just depends.

Making my first trip to Jaco in mid Jan and was able to snag a room at Cocal (BTW. The website said they were fully booked but I emailed them and they had rooms available).

I've read the forum entries about the pool vibe and such at night and watched several YouTube vids but can't get a definitive and up to date read on the donations the ladies request and what that typically gets ya. We talking an hour of service like the massage parlors stateside? Or we talking a few hours? Or is everything per conversation and negotiation with the ladies?

Also, besides the pool any pro tips from Jaco vets would be appreciated.

You guys will thank me for this trick, it will save you lots of $$ and hassle. Just G**gle search "bachelor pad jaco airbnb", this will bypass all the usual airbnb filters and get you the places you want.

My first trip to Jaco was a disaster, as I stayed in a gated community condo, like $175/ night, tipped a guard to get a girl in, then we got a complaint, felt really bad, etc. I ended up moving to the Cocal, which was loud with iffy wi fi, and even more expensive, for small room with no kitchen. (I work on my computer all day, like a kitchen to make breakfast / coffee etc).

But I loved the feel of Jaco, the one place on earth where guys can be guys, so went back. And so glad I did. I don't want you guys making the same trip-ruining mistake. A girl friendly airbnb is cheap and perfect for some pura vida.

I'll be in Jaco next week traveling solo. I'm staying at a hostel (private room) to meet folks to party with. If I strike out with the hostel girls I plan to head down to cocal. I don't want to bring a working girl back to the hostel and it may not be allowed anyways. Are there options near the cocal where I could rent a room strictly for that purpose? Yes, there are plenty of short term rooms right next to the Cocal, like next property over. Just ask the girls and they will show you. Cost is cheap for a short time room.

Yes, everyone, including those staying at the Hotel, mongers, gringos, LOL are required to show a QR Code which you obtain from the Ministry of Health online. You will do this before you leave your country. The Police went so far as to do quick spot checks one night on the girls in the bar to make sure they had their codes.

Still here now Dave. The bars are open until 11 pm And that includes all venues like Frog Bar at Cocal, Oz, LE Loft, Orange Pub, etc.
The amount of girls begins to steadily increase beginning Wednesday and then tapers off after Saturday night. Even in a time like this there are plenty of girls in town for us to keep happy.
