Why there are so many middle age Colombian man just sitting and standing on the sidewalk? I feel really insecure. After I calculate how much I spend on my frist trip, I realized I couldn't afford living in Poblado and laurels and facebook girls on regular basic. I am thinking centro would be my place next time. I went there but I only went to strip clubs because somehow, I feel more comfortable in a strip club than walking around on the street and I don't speak Spanish I couldn't pull my phone out on centro for safety reason. I understand those strange men are probably just labors resting but why the fuck standing and sitting right next to the street girls? Can't you just make some space if you want to have a beer then sit inside the bar? Some of them are younger guys but that make me even more uncomfortable what the fuck are you doing the only explanation is they are looking for foreign tourist victim. Shit.

The casas change names and sometimes go by several names at the same time. It's much more useful to share street addresses (see my response to this post).

There is an old school casa at calle 49 #43-68, a couple of doors east of the D1 on calle 49 (aka "Ayacucho). Way back when it was called Estambul before the tranvia was built. It's not Buenos Aires as such but it's pretty close to the eastern edge of Buenos Aires and the Placita de Flores. I haven't been in there in several years so I can't review the staffing or service.

I can't wait to see this for myself LOL. Whose idea was that. The sex tourism must really be as bad as they say it is. Either that or they just have a stick up their asses. Has anyone ever seen anything like this in other parts of the world? Because I've never seen it.

It is a weird situation, me and my friend lives in the United States, and he is got a pen-pal in Medellin, and his pen-pal convinced him to invest a lot of money to build a house at that Buenos Aires neighborhood. And my friend he is not a monger. In exchange, he own small part of that building. Although he paid mostly of the house. And now he can live in a room with no windows, and I can live there too. But I am thinking his Medellin friend had take advantage of him and there might be something sketchy behind this shit deal. The only condition is if I live there, I can not bring hookers to the house.

Your friend is a monger now. He paid to get screwed.

I'm guessing your friend didn't use lawyers and contracts for his real estate investment. If not, he owns nothing. Depending on where it's located, a windowless room is not going to be comfortable, no air flow.

I would also question whether staying there for free is possible. You or he will most likely be presented with a list of things the house needs and payment will be expected.

Dial-a-entertainment refers to having women you can message to come have sex with you. Which doesn't matter if you stay at a place where you can't have visitors.

I went La Isla two days ago and I think I got rigged off.

After negotiated with this girl and agreed with 400 K (100 K for the room and 300 K for her).

She lead me to the bar and I paid 400 K to the man by the bar.

After a great session, she insisted me to pay her another 300 K, saying some BS that the payment I did earlier was entire for the room.

She didn't receive any payment yet.

I tried to argue but I knew no Spanish and I was there alone. Didn't want to get into trouble.

I gave her the money and moved on.

Stupid me but still want to learn from the lesson, who rigged me off? The bar man or the girl?

She screwed you.

In cases like that, at La Isla or most other establishments, take it back to the bar, or manager, or whoever is available. Use Google translate to explain what you understood and tell her you will pay her after you confirm it with the manager.

Going to MDE over Christmas holiday to visit friends. Is the Santa Fe mall open, except on Dec. 25th? Not sure. Restaurants open, except on 25th? Any recent guidance? Loutron?

No idea about Loutron, but everything else should be open on the 24th. Some places might close early.

Not that I know of. But many of the girls that live there and go out there are working girls. Theres plenty of nightlife, it just requires more work. Whereas centro is 10000 in a cab.

This is fascinating to see, they actually have a sign LOL. I heard about this on Reddit but never seen an actual picture of it. So how would they actually distinguish a "sex tourist" I mean obviously one would go nicely dress to this kind of establishment, at least business causal and the girl would be appropriately dressed for the occasion as well. But also if I'm not that old being 35, it wouldn't be as obvious as it would be seeing a 50+ yr old man out with a girl in her 20's. Would they not let them in if the age gap was obviously noticeable even tho they are appropriately dressed? It just seems stupid to me when they obviously know one of the reasons tourist visit is for sex. They should just stick to dress code. But even then, Have they not seen how scantily clad women dress to restaurants in places like Vegas and Miami now a days LOL.
