1) In Jakarta, places to hunt for girls: Blok M, Top Gun, My Bar, BATS, CJs, Malio, Emporium.

I am also semi new to Jakarta as a whole only been 2 times for about a month each but I have had a much better time in Lokasari plaza than Blok M. Blok M has some of the most limited selection and tired looking working girls I have ever seen in my life. The area across the bus depot in the karaoke area has better girls but of course not cheap. Almost every girl walking around in mangga besar after 10 pm is a working girl and there are maybe 100 venues I have never taken a girl long time from these places but wechat is also much cheaper and higher quality imo. If any long time Jakarta mongers have any insight into this I would appreciate it but the clubs and Blok M were a bust for me. They were over priced and kind of stale. I am new to the Jakarta forum. But before asking further questions, I decided to do my homework and read through the pages. Here's what I learned, and please correct me / elaborate wherever needed:

Basically it is a site dedicated to exposing IG prostitutes. Apparently there is a huge industry of rich Gulf state men that pay women to go there so they can fuck them and be pooped on No, I am not shitting you. Pooping is a common theme. The big thing of the site is apparently getting the would be prostitutes to send pictures, passport information, etc and then even a video saying they consent to all this. And they post the conversation all online and expose them.

The sums of money being offered are truly staggering. Like 10 K US plus. Now this site is just posting people who are catfishing and trolling these women. They setup fake IG profiles and then contact the women. But they are attempting to expose what a sham IG modeling really is and how most of the women are just high priced hookers. The guys that run the site claim they don't have a problem with hookers and prostitutes, just the fakeness of the profiles and what the ladies actually are. But some of the texts and conversations are truly brutal. I get the hypocrisy they are trying to expose, but I don't really agree with their methods. They are ruining lives with what they are doing. If a woman wants to post sexy pictures of herself on IG and offer up her body for whatever on the side, that is her business. No need to embarrass and expose her.

For me, I never had the patience to go the IG route. I can play in the 1 K range, but I cannot play in the 10 K range. It seemed like a lot of effort and time anyways that I didn't want to invest in. Much easier to just go to Jakarta for the week and fuck a lot of hot ladies at Malio, Emporium, Alexis 7 before it closed or Alexis Karaoke. How many followers and how well developed was your own IG profile? Was it a new account with no followers or pictures of your own? Or did you have a lot of pictures of cars, yachts, money, hotels, world travel, etc?

I created a separate IG account for this "research," I didn't want friends and family to notice that I was following dozens of Indonesian women, modeling agencies, and notorious spas and brothels. I did post a series of images pulled from the internet of hotels that I had stayed in overseas. It was a personal project, and not some display of status / wealth; many of the hotels are quite humble. Currently, the profile has about 30 followers, all of them seem to be bots.

For the girl you chose, about how many followers did she have? Was she, say over 100-150 K followers?

The most important thing for me was that the girl was using her IG page as a business. I didn't set a cutoff for followers; however, I looked for "Open Promo", "Endorse", "DM for Booking", etc. The girl that I chose happened to have 200 k+ followers.

Why would she respond? I bet she gets tons of DMs every day.

I can't know for sure why she responded to me; however, I do know that she uses DMs for bookings and promos. At minimum, she checks her inbox for those opportunities. Furthermore, there was not a lot of social distance that would prevent her from responding. GROs only make 8 juta/month, she could make 1-3 juta per photo shoot, and she made some money from promos on her IG profile; however, her overall income was not in anyway spectacular. Additionally, Ramadan suppressed her wages from GRO work because of curtailed club hours. Finally, her most recent boyfriend had just returned to France. In fact, her last several boyfriends were bule. Like many girls, she was aware that western foreigners are a potential source of income.

Did your profile have an actual picture of you?

My profile only had one obscured photo of me posing in front of Christos Redentor in Rio. She asked for photos as the conversation progressed.

How did you know when you were chatting with her that it was actually her and not an agent?

Unlike the WeChat / Tinder game, the less successful girls won't have agents. This girl managed all her own work through her phone. She lives in a small apartment in west Jakarta with her sister; it's a very small operation. However, many girls with agents are explicit on their profiles that their booking / contact information is for an agent. Of course, I know this only in retrospect.
