Non smoking law is not enforced at the Palace, nor at any of the other Go Go bars I've been to this trip. East Asians gravitate to the bars with cute girls; many East Asians are chain smokers.

Mamasan at Skyfall told me those are the prices for the tip; note that you also have to pay the barfine. Not sure if that was the upper end. Not sure if you can negotiate with the girl, especially the cute ones. Anyone has the answer?

At the Palace when a customer was leaving with a girl, she told the guy that you have to give XX, and I thought she held up 3 fingers. But I wasn't sure about the thumb. So it's either 3 or 4 tip for short time. Anyone has the answer?

3 k ST 5 k LT is standard. At some bars you can negotiate for less, especially if the girl is older or not a top girl.

I don't believe the smoking law is banning smoking from bars. Someone can correct me but I believe it's just to ban smoking from within 5 metres from any door. What this would technically mean since it is so narrow is that smoking would be prohibited from all of Walking Street itself unless you are inside a bar. It would also prohibit smoking on any sidewalk or side soi. I pray the police due their job and collect side money from all smokers I can't stand smokers.

I was complaining last night to Banana Boy about that same thing. One after another after another after another. Of course, plenty of falangs chain smoke too.

It hasn't even been that bad the past few days we have gone out. I don't mind so much if guys smoke and actually smoke since that is expected in a Thai gogo bar but I do get very annoyed at guys who leave their cigarettes burning in an ashtray for minutes without smoking it. I have "accidentally" spilled my drink on some of those cigarettes.

I'm arriving on a Friday. Say I find myself a serious stunner. How much do you think to barfine for the weekend? Fri-sun 2 nights?

BF is according to each bar and you will have to pay for each night she is on shift. If you are lucky she is not working the next 2 night so you can make arrangements with the girl the next night, skipping the BF. However, I have to ask why would you stay with the same girl if you are on a short trip.

FYI for those who haven't heard e-cigarettes and vaping will soon be legal in Thailand. Already see guys lighting up.

Easy to tell who the models were; they had "model" written on their number tag. The models were only topless. I was going to talk to number 320; she had a cute face. But as soon as she got off stage, she was grabbed by this guy who gave her multiple lady drinks.

I arrived at Infinity at 10:30. Bar was somewhat empty. Talent was average.

I arrived at Skyfall at 11. Talent was above average, but not as good as Palace and Tantra. Since I arrived late, maybe all the cute ones were already barfined. Mamasam told me that the barfine was 1500 and 2000. Plus 4000 for short time and 6000 for long time.

Guys, please DO NOT support Skyfall and their inflated prices That bar is a complete tourist trap. FL mentioned to me last night we'd head to Skyfall. I pretended I didn't hear him! No tourist traps like Sapphire and Skyfall for this guy. I don't buy 6 drinks per hour and get next to no action.

We were at Tantra last night arriving a 9:30 or so. It was one of the worst lineups I have ever seen there. Place was almost empty. I kind of like #320 as well but I find her jaw to be a bit square. She also doesn't seem like much fun. Seen her sitting with other guys and no hands on fun at all.

We were at Infinity around the same time last night (Sunday). Pretty dead and not many girls working. Try again later in the week and a bit earlier if you are still in town. Care to meet up with the rest of us, MP, FL Hawk, and Lew Ashby, and I believe Phazze?

The PPlus hotel on Soi Xzyte charges 100 baht for the day to use their pool (open 7 am to 7 pm). Also, you can use the gym and pool there for a monthly rate of 1500 baht.

This is why I tend to end up at Red Car. No smoking. And I am seeing more younger women are going there. Last night I took home a girl in her mid-20's. Last April I took home a 25 year old. And how did I know the one last night was young? We and 2 of her girl friends left RC to go to Lucifer's, and all three got their ID's out as we approached the disco for an age check.

The only downside is that the youngins just aren't as talanteted as their mothers.

imo the better nights to go to gogo bars are Sunday to Wednesday. Thursdays start getting busy and on Friday or Saturday many good girls are already barfined for the weekend when their out of town sponsors or big customers arrive and have pre barfined the girls. Sundays and Mondays are usually try out nights at some of the busier bars too.

But the good thing is that the girls at Palace / Tantra don't push for lady drinks; you have to call them over.

I can't emphasize enough for you to go to Tantra and even at least walk in and out of Infinity and Skyfall. Tantra has many models but the cute ones at Tantra are the ones who are not models.

Man! When did all the prices go up for the cute girls. It will be really expensive to pick up 2 or 3. I remember when it was 1000 baht barfine for the "Showgirls". I haven't pick up from Walking Street Go Go's in a few years. Mainly because the cute girls usually say "no". No to CIM, no to lesbian shows, no to rimming.

There is a public pool on 3rd Road. I think it is like 50 baht. There is also a pool at the top of Mikes Shopping.

Mikes pool has been closed for ages and doesn't look like it will ever reopen. When it comes to pools big enough for serious swimming the choice is not that great in Pattaya. Some swimming pools stay shaded by buildings most of the day and never get warm. One budget hotel I like for its swimming pool is Sabai Lodge.

Siam at Siam have a roof top small swimming pool (there is also a second swmming pool a floor below) with big and very comfortable sunbeds, great seaview. Some nice girls chill there sometimes, good house music, no entry fee but I think you have to spend around 200 or 300 baht at their bar (free towel included).

Pattaya Park in Jomtien I think is 100 baht entry fee.

There is also a pool at the top of Mikes Shopping.

Has it been reopened? Because it was closed about a year ago for restructuring.

There is a public pool on 3rd Road. I think it is like 50 baht. There is also a pool at the top of Mikes Shopping. Or just walk into a condo and use their pool. I go to use the one at my buddy's condo all the time and nobody ever says anything.

I normally don't dare use the words "khuay" and "hee" unless know the Thai person well, like my GF.

My favorite thing to say in Thai is hee yai yai. When I go around to bars and shit I like to tell them I am looking for that hee yai yai. They get a kick out of that and always point out one of their coworkers. I also ask the girls if they like khuay yai.
