I am new to the Delhi mongering scene myself and was trying some Locanto ads today. So, it depends how experienced you are in picking up hints. Things I look for:

1. Consistency in the area of service provided by them. Sometimes, the point of contact have many sub contacts and this step might not be a robust method.

2. Talking to the person on the other side and see if they keep on changing what they say.

3. Taking about price and sometimes if they provide pics, it should co-relate. Eg. A very stunning model with heavily photoshopped pic might not be very cheep.

4. Use acronyms which the group uses to test waters in term of their knowledge as far as lingo is concerned. LE might not be up to speed with all the lingo we often pick up and circulate.

5. Finally if your intuition says it's not feeling right, just back off.

6. The most trusted source would be contacts obtained from a known source- say friends, forum members etc.
