Hi mate,

You are quite right, the reason being people don't't behave well to women.

Jumps as if they haven't seen a girl.

I will recommend, to be professional and caring. If you think the girl is good, and you are 100% want to take her.

Then entertain, if you don't want then don't waste time. Its helps for both of you.

Go to student clubs (well dressed in a suite) you should be able to get good girls. Needs time and patience.

Sorry seniors many of them in this group are much more experienced than me but just my 2 cents.

Every year I travel for my vacation for 10 to 15 days.

Yes what you are saying is right some go go bars don't allow Indians, but at the same time if the business is down they will pull you inside.

It happened to me once. I tried to go to sugar agogo guards asked me are you Indian I said yes and they said they won't allow.

Few near by agogos also did the same in LK metro. But very next year I was taking 2 girls and just stopped near sugar due to rain. Mamasan saw me and gave me a smile I too smiled and left.

Very next day I was going out in search of new bar and I just didn't stopped near sugar and to my surprise mamasan came to me and pulled me I said I am an Indian and as per my knowledge you don't allow but she said don't worry please come I was just not interested as they didn't allowed me just for the sake of her I went inside. Business was OK few mongers were there but she treated me very well she asked her 2 very hot girls with topless to sit next to me and do.

I spent some time there and asked her to give orange juice only and played some time and didn't selected she was asking me I said I didn't liked anyone and came out on the way I just called both the girls and gave tips and mamasan came till outside begging to take at least one she said wait I will provide few more good options since I somehow hate that agogo because they didn't allowed me previously as I am Indian and paid 300 bhat to her said not interested.

Even if I get one of the best in sugar I will not as they insulted my country.

Be calm don't talk too much during in your whole trip, stop your friendships (girls, foreigner mongers, hotel staff, taxi everyone) only till you finish your drink don't go beyond that not even for roaming.

Many know me very well there but I just give them a smile and move on.

After all you are there for yourself.

Be generous even if you got to know you are ripped don't talk just pay what is agreed and move on.

Police will help tourists a lot, relay on them especially some seniors.

Even if you are drunk completely they will help you to reach your apartment safely.

Always be in busy area don't venture to remote areas where people movement is very low.

For little far areas take bike taxi and agree on the money in advance.

Take bhat bus its very safe.

Even if something happening near your just ignore and leave the place immediately especially some Pakistanis will be arguing and fighting with each others.

Don't ever try to interfere just leave the place immediately.

Keep your itinerary ready plan for all the 10 to 15 days and do only that much.

It's perfectly safe to visit alone, as long as you take some basic precautions. Watch out for the ping pong show scams (Google for more info). I visited last August and it turned out to be a great trip. Do your research because they have a hundred ways to rip off a foreigner. I would also suggest checking out the full moon parties, they are supposed to be off the hook.

Coming to your concern about Indians having a bad reputation, I did face that unfortunately. Most of the reputed go go bars keep their doors closed once they see an Indian approaching and say 'members only'. This is because they are under the perception that Indians only visit the bars just to watch the girls, and not order drinks. But the beauty of Thailand is that these are just a few bars among literally hundreds, and a majorly of them do allow Indians. Hope this helps. Feel free to drop a not if you need more info.
