Hey all,

Joined this forum pretty recently and from what I've read on the posts this seems to be a very tightly knit community with very little opportunities for noobs. I've read helpful posts for newbies but most of them are 'dos and donts' and how to stay safe mongering, none of them have any advice on getting started. I signed up since I was going to be in Bangalore all month and will be frequenting the country more often next year, unfortunately since I am new and don't have any numbers to reciprocate with I find it hard to get any contacts at all.

Have PM'd a few seniors and am hoping that they will respond, in the mean time though if you have any advice on how to 'Enter the Game' please do share.

If you have plans to create more damage please stop it here. We beginners are already facing the heat. We can neither try the places you shared nor we are getting help from seniors because of what you did. I learnt one thing from this forum is that we need to build trust and seniors will help gradually, just need to be patient. Please stop before you make it worse.

It's indeed very sad to say that I didn't receive any reply for this. When someone ask about Bangkok 5 people jump forward and answers it. Please take into consideration the newbies as well who can only dream about Bangkok. I am not blaming anyone who replied the Bangkok request, it's just my request to consider "Desi " request also.

If the info is freely available there would never be "The informer" who has shut down the doors to the easily approachable places, in the name of help, forcing us to go in search of greener pastures.

Nothing to worry bro. Like any other place you need to have basic precautions. Yes some gogo's might have restrictions.

Especially when business is high. But options are never less. You have lot of Thais here too. I went there with a Thai who.

Was returning from here so it was never a prob but even if you go alone its quite manageable as there are lots of places.

Wanted to check on how safe a particular MP in Sad nagar is. There seems to be a new MP in Sad nagar called GT which has opened in the place of an old MP (mentioned in my older FRs). The older MP was in the news for getting raided, and upon visiting GT, I noticed that the guy at the counter was the same guy running the older MP. This kind of freaked me out, just wanted to check if this was the norm and if the myth 'lightning never strikes the same place twice' holds good in this case or not.
