You got me. I know when I have been caught red handed in a lie. I have to admit, I have this sick obsession about browsing through various websites showing promo pics of hot girls and then making up fantasies about them. But, despite the claims of game and magical powers, there was near zero written evidence (by him) to suggest MonkeyPaw was getting anything close to a True sexual/GFE in Thailand until he finally took heed of the sage advice from the seniors here for how and where to find it and to at least start expecting and negotiating for some in exchange for the massive amount of money he has to spend just to meet girls and take their photo. Can you explain why you mention measles. I had it as a child also, but don't see how relevant. HSV1 is known as "cold sores" and 65% of adult males have had it possibly higher in some countries. There are prophylactics for it, but probably not needed unless a high risk person. Valacyclovir maybe.

I don't know if I ever had cold sores. Did not have anything that looked like it, and I never had the pre tingling sensation often reported, like those who get one know its coming and can start treatment early. If we never had one before are we likely to get it late in life? No idea.

HSV2 is genital herpes but a bit less common. There is also Herpes Zoster (known as Shingles) VZV (perhaps a bit unrelated). This is possible subsequent to Chicken Pox I believe. My brother had this one with belly rashes. Other Herpes types? I heard of Epstein-Barr, human cytomegalovirus, but assume are rare. Human Herpes Virus 6 A and 6 B is little heard of but I read that most people tested have them quite possibly since age 1 month. Associated with some child illness.

There are various things to catch regardless of Condoms sure, however that just distracts from condoms being effective for some things. A condom that did not come off or break is unlikely to cause a pregnancy.

Seems like there is no reliable test. It is only a faint indicator. Not sure if worthwhile to get any further tests for HSV. Could be a waste of time and money.

What if I get negative again next time. Will it prove anything useful? Not really.

Doctors don't know much about STDs really unless they specialise in it. Normal general practitioners can have misguided education or lack of good education and experience.

So he was essentially trying to say I was lying about what encounters happened. On different occasion caught Chlamydia eye from my finger (was in pussy), so I know how easy it is to catch. Doctors should know too.

My recent comprehensive physician's exam two weeks ago did not check for either HSV1 or HSV2 and I did not think to ask for one. Like you, I have never had what one could suspect after checking is a genital HSV2 outbreak.
