I could see that because the number of sex tourists and overall tourists in Medellin and especially around Lleras has really increased exponentially. I remember as recent as 5 years ago it not being like it is now. It's pretty normal now to see groups of American and Canadian females sporting feminism shirts and things of the like around the city.

Watched the boring Super Bowl near Lleras. Afterwards stoped in Gusto and another spot near Hooters. Both places has some pretty nice talent. Didn't talk numbers with anyone but I could see how guys have a good time around there. I plan to get back to those places at some point.

I decided to walk through the areas of El Centro frequented by street walkers in the afternoon yesterday and was struck by the numbers of young attractive chicas I saw mainly standing at doorways. Most of them actually ignored me among the hustle and bustle that was going on which made me feel that I was not all that noticeable which I like. I will feel way too self conscious grabbing one at that time of day but some evening or night time activity is definitely in the offing.

I like the area much less at night, the hustle and bustle you are lost in is gone to be replaced by a bunch of local dudes getting drunk, lot less cops around at night also.

Which Casas have you been to?

For Americans on a short trip the best bet is either New Life or Energy. Why go spending a lot of time moving around from one casa to the other? I have seen numerous Americans in those two casas who appeared to be very contented with their sessions. These two casas have the widest selections of over 20 chicas on any given day and the chances of getting someone to your liking is high. Those who like big bundas will not be disappointed especially at New Life although there are flacas in both casas. The flaca I had in New Life was 19 years old.

I start by Veracruz church. Walk down beside it, make a right, walk all the way down to the end of the block, cross the street and walk the other side. I then circle back to the girl I liked most or sit down at a bar and have a drink. There will also be girls in the bars you don't see as you walk by. Im sure we stick out but the street is bustling with traffic, venders, delivery trucks, and other pedestrians going about their day. I personally don't walk around long and find a good viewpoint from the bar. You will have venders walking up trying to sell you everything under the sun. I otherwise haven't been bothered. It is cheap and a fun hunt for something I like. Which is not always immediate so go shopping, have lunch, check out the musuem, Botero statues, then walk back through. So much to see/do down there. Easy to spend the whole day down there for me.
The Ruadal area is close as well if you prefer to head to that area for a loop.

I have set up a faux Facebook page and plan to step out into centro since by all accounts, I fit in there. I was wondering if you guys could share a name or some names to add to my account. This post is directed to expats living in CO or knowledgeable about the subject. It has nothing to do with the theme of this board, sorry. I hesitate to get too personal, but screw it. For those that subscribe to expat boards, I've also asked the same question on another board. Please excuse the repetition.

I'm an American looking to retire in Medellin or possibly Cali or elsewhere, though my experience outside Medellin is very limited. I only mention Cali as I believe the cost of living is less than Medellin and I like warm weather. I'd like to inquire what kind of life I would have living on a small pension of about $2200 monthly. The best I can tell from my visits is that my standard of living would be much lower than it is now.

Not to get into all the gory details, I lost my business and with it, my savings. Hence, I have to rely on my pension. Although I'm a professional and have commanded a good salary, at 67 I find that jobs are much more difficult to come by. I was recently laid off and can't even get an interview. Besides, after over 50 years of working, I'm ready to leave the cold winters here in the northeast and enjoy retired life.

Is a decent apartment in a relatively safe area with enough left over for food, modest entertainment, basic medical (I'm healthy), etc possible in my circumstances? The decision I need to make is whether to struggle to look for work so I can replenish my savings somewhat or take the plunge and retire. Thanks.

PolloNegro is completely legit as the tall man has connected with him off line and I for one appreciate his honesty and style for the chicas, lets just say that we have chica freinds in common, jajajaja.

So many guys are chasing the 10 for whatever that means, now I must admit that in years past that I, when I had a shit load of discretionary income to burn, have paid handsomely for a real top 10 model type material, but things change and I am on the low key budget manager system for stretching my pesos and guess what I am having a blast with the centro chicas and other low volume under the radar girl next door, who like PolloNegro some of you would go "WTF", to each his own, just be real and have fun and go with the flow.

How do you operate Centro! I have done every single method also! Except Centro! I have a skewed vision of it after watching YouTube videos. Maybe it's me but it seems like the most uncomfortable way of mongering. I imagine walking down some 3rd world looking street. Passing by shady guys and looking like a sore thumb. Then walking up to a group of thirsty unattractive women. Looking at them then walking as they make cat calls at me as I continue down ghetto streets on foot looking for a diamond in the ruff. LOL.

My thought process to avoid this scenario was find some sort of transportation (in a car seems safer). Maybe asking the cab driver to circle around until I found my diamond. Putting down the window. She walks over. Negotiates. Hope's in then off we go to either my alt or a love motel of my choosing.

Mind you, I monger alone so what is the real way of doing this safely and with a bit of dignity LOL. The whole walking the streets just doesn't seem realistic for a foreigner. What's your methods? In detail please.

Unless you are a Cartel Member or Arab who has bought some of these Medellin girls, please be mindful and open minded about speculations. If you mention money in this forum you will be bashed, if you mention Centro they will say you will be robbed. I will tell you this, I exclusively monger in Centro, and I have met plenty of girls who meet my standards. Many on the board will tell you that they have had beauties beyond belief, but never one pic. The most common excuse is this, I respect the girl. If they respected the girl, they would not pay her for sex and would tell her to find some upstanding work, but that's not neither here nor there.

Plenty of people have inboxed me and I have sent them photos of girls and numbers and the nearly 95% of the guys ask about the skinny girls that I send and truly I am a ass man, so once again, landing a 10 is in the eye of the beholder. I have come to terms that many mongers have a little woman syndrome and they won't spinners under a 100 lbs and under 5 foot. Then this is what you need to say, don't just say, I want a 10. To be honest, most of the chics I see guys chasing are extremely young looking and that's cool, but say that, don't just say, I want a 10.

My favorite chic is a few girls from Centro, who allow all 3 hole access, and swallow and do anything you ask for the pesos. If you are obsessed with physical beauty then you should also say that, but for me, performance is what makes a woman a 10, not just looks. I have had many chics in Casas that wouldn't let me take pics, or wanted a tip for BBBJ and had too many rules. The 10 factor is all in the mind and you have to know what your 10 factor is and what you are willing to pay. Fortunately, I take enough pesos with me to achieve every desire I can think of, that's what a monger has to be honest with himself about. What services and looks do you want for the pesos that you are spending. I can't tell you how much money to bring, as this is also a problem starter.
