Starting the day drinking a bit early, aren't we? Is your life so empty that you have nothing better to do than make up things, attribute them to me and then call me out for something I didn't say? I never mentioned poor men. I never said rich men don't have sparkling personalities. One condition does not exclude the other.

I suppose I need to define all the terms.

Non-pro: A woman who is interested in engaging sexually with a man with no monetary compensation, required relationship or expectation of financial gain.

Maybe that's the part that's confusing you. There are guys here who send girls 4-10 million pesos a month, so the girl will fuck them for the 15 days they visit Colombia, and they call them "non-pro. If you're walking around Medellin wearing 4 months of income for the average person around your neck, you're not attracting non-pros. You're attracting girls who see an opportunity to get some of that money.

Anybody have any recommendations for love motels in the Poblado area. Looking for a cheap motel room to get a couple quickies in this are as my Airbnb in not chica friendly.

Reason why I'm looking for this is mostly for night time action. I don't want be venturing out in the El centro area at night and not looking to hit up the expensive parque Lleras scene too often.

Also when you guys are mongering in el Centro during the day time, any of you have go to hotels are you guys just headed to the closest one. I don't know of any cheap love motels in Poblado. There's Las Cabanas, but it isn't cheap. There are cheap places in Mayorista and El Centro, but they're not in Poblado.

These are the type of questions better asked before you settle on a place to stay.

Yes, I have also experienced this issue. Do not bring even unlocked phones that were bought through Verizon or Sprint to Colombia. At least for now. Maybe it's just me, but I feel the universality and interconnectivity on this planet is lagging behind the technology it supports.

[Deleted by Admin] I have two Verizon phones brought from the USA here with me which work fine in Colombia, so guys who have Verizon service in the USA they will work fine here and you have an option for International service at $ 10 day, or you can buy a bundled package of texts, minutes, & data.

As far as bringing an unlocked Verizon phone to Colombia, unless you bring a registered Verizon SIM card with you, you won't be able to use the phone, at least that is what Verizon told me, and probably the source of the problem you experienced and a good warning for others but easily solved.

Before I came down I brought three registered Verizon SIM cards with me so all I have to do is put the SIM card in an unblocked Verizon or other system compatible phone, and the phone can be activated on line at least according to what I was told. I'm not a phone expert by any means, and know a lot of people don't like Verizon as their very expensive but the money is not an issue for me and I've had great customer service from them.

This has already been discussed here in a lot of detail. Recommendations include Zona Rosa and premier plaza. Zona Rosa is my go to. Not all girls will go with you to your preferred hotel for many reasons which again have been discussed here in depth. If she is not willing to go with you to your preferred hotel then you take your chances. On my first Centro experience I let the girl take me to a $6000 room on the strip behind Veracruz and it did the job.

Look through my previous posts where I ask these sorts of questions before my first trip, and take notes.
