Does the airline have implied liability if they sell you a one-way ticket? Would they be required to eat the ticket cost at the end of your tourist visa if you don't have the money for another flight?
Maybe an airline insider, or a lawyer can weigh in on the subject.

I have been told several times bhy airlines that they get fined by a country if they allow passengers onboard without return tickets. But that doesn't really stand up to much scrutiny bcos the immigration never checks. Maybe that is just what they are told to say when asked. I imagine the immigration departments request the airlines to check.

Thanks! That may be part of it, I'm in my mid-late 30's and mainly reaching out to chicas in their early 20's. Overall I'm not sure how a man's age impacts what the chica is looking for. Completely agree that the girls in the US are nowhere near the level of girls in Medellin, Thailand, Philippines, pretty much everywhere. I totally agree with you, in my opinion feminism has over-corrected in the Western world, where it has made what used to simple life events like dating, hellish, dangerous for your career, and overall not fun at all. I've never heard of immigration ever asking to see a return ticket upon arrival, yet the airlines have been the one's checking / inquiring about it before boarding.

For me they checked that I had a return flight at the check in desk before I even went through security. There are several websites you can use to buy a refundable plane ticket and get around this.

I am not an insider. There is no penalty for selling one way ticket but there may be penalty to allow passenger without onward ticket to another destination to board or the airline may be forced to repatriate the passenger on the next flight.

I usually fly round trip to Thailand with return flight to US several months later. The carrier will ask me for my flight out of Thailand within 30 days because my visa is only valid for 30 days. They know I have a flight out of Thailand several months later but that does not count. I use Thailand as my base travelling in Asia. I could go thru this several times a year on the same trip between several countries. One time the airline worker even chased me down in the airport because they forgot to check my outbound ticket.

I am pretty sure this is not correct based on the "all" context and given that you travel all over the world. If you have something like round trip ticket, they won't ask because they can see it on their terminal. Sometimes they will forget to ask but if it is required, they may face a fine.

While I think that you have a better chancve of negotiating BBBJ than BBFS, both are harder to find in LLeras than say downtown. But I will say this, one thing that I have learned is that you should not negotiate these things in front of other chicas, I think some of these chicas are more worried about other chicas calling them nasty and dirty for doing BBBJ or BBFS than they are the acually act.
