Can seniors please guide on do's don't's when checking into hotel? Quite new to this.

For large 3* + hotels, is it best to check in together? Especially if there's large age gap?

Also if you don't want WG to know your name, details, is separate check in safe? Or suspicious?

Can we just share room number without any other details and tell reception you are expecting a second guest?

How about totally separate rooms and then just walking into another's room? Is this safe, even if more expensive? Or will hotels flag from cctv and cause issues?

Appreciate experienced folks help on this for a newbie. Thanks!

This one post below generated so many PMs to my ID. I just can't believe it.

I don't want to send flood of people to her and donno what she will think of me.
