I was really surprised by Mileroticos. I was thinking it would be a bunch of scammers and flakes, but the girls were clean, friendly and a great value. Many offered incalls if you need to do that. I preferred that they come to my room. Basically, because Playa Del Carmen has the Taxi Cab cartel and if you want to go to her place (and can't walk) then you are stuck with a taxi. A taxi there is about 3-4 times the price of a taxi in the US and they are all scammers. As an example, in Cancun, a taxi from the airport to the hotels (about 10-12 miles) is a flat rate of $65 and every cab charges the exact same amount. In Playa del Carmen, a taxi ride was a minimum of $25 (for several blocks). Not one person that came to my room took a taxi. Some rode bicycles, some walked, most caught the bus oh, and one had a scooter. Unfortunately, if you can't get one to your room, then you may be stuck with that. I should mention that every ex-pat that I encountered warned me repeatedly NOT to get into any cab if humanly possible. They will take you to your location and charge more than their ridiculous rates and then demand a tip on top of it.

Lastly, I don't know your age and you and SOs sexual practices, but if you are a decent looking couple then I can almost guarantee you can pull a third from one of the bars on the strip in Playa Del Carmen if you're willing to make the effort. That may be a better option for you. In the past, I've taken my (ex) SO to other countries and we've had women latch on to us and taken them back to our room. I never thought she had it in her, but sun, alcohol and hot women makes them loosen up a little.

So, I booked a room at Hotel Infashion. It was $65/ night. Not the greatest but the rooms are clean. The rest is a dump. Guests are allowed for a $20 fee, but the main desk is about 200 ft from the door. This is Mexico so the front desk person pays little attention to anyone that is not in front of her. So far, I've had 8 people to my room and only the maids know (tipped them $20).
