I quite agree. My usual price ceiling for the plaza del Reloj is 250 mil, but I start from 200 mil. Some agree on 200. But strange things happen. Just yesterday I met 2 Venezolanas on the street in the walled city. They were quite good. I would have taken one of them, but they said they charged 400 mil (minimum for each of them. And they were newcomers, came here just 8 days ago. They don't yet know prices? I said that I didn't have such money (actually I wasn't ready to go that high). Usually chicks bargain and we could agree on 250, but they didn't make any effort.

Those quoted prices are way too high. I was walking home from dinner last week, and a few muchachas stopped me to ply their wares. I was quoted 250 k per hour. No one said dollars.

And 250 is actually a premium. I got two regulars from Skokka for 150 k two shots and they make love to me. I love to say about Cartagena, "If you bend over, they will * you".

Those ladies know a tourist when they see one, and they are adjusting their prices to take advantage of your ignorance. That is by no means the market rate. They would starve trying to charge dollars for everyone.

Yes its still open but the problem is that now, everyone is pushed to that area. I went there for lunch last Sunday and saw a few new things. (not going back for the rest of the trip).

Everyone is concentrated to Kiosk 4 now. So while eating, the usual constant harassment from vendors, massage ladies and beggars is increased but the new annoyance is the damn little kids coming up to you, and tapping you asking for food and money, the same stupid shit they did outside Delirium.

Everyone is competing for the gringos and makes the experience more uncomfortable, the only ones I see liking all the extra attention are the brothers who feel like superstars constantly waving over chicas to get numbers.

Well that sucks, the price is ridiculous. The principle alone would make me stay away from those girls. Can't blame them though. It's dumb gringos I know speaking to them in USD that got this started.

In regards to your AirBB, you need to first read the house rules you agreed to when you booked. If nothing is listed there in regards to visitors, then ask the host. If all else fails, just bring them and if the person on guard says something try working it out with them. Usually some beers, order them food or give them enough to get lunch / dinner.

In regards to the Trans, I don't know why the hell would someone put themselves in that position of going to a strangers house in another country who they just met but to each their own. I would suggest meeting them in an environment where you have control rather giving them the upper hand to surprise you with anything such as setting you up to be robbed when you leave their place.

My Delirium chica finished up with her high paying Gringo and decided to come over. We decided to get lunch in Getsemani.

Little to no Taxis in El Laguito so she gets an inDriver. On the way to Getsemni I see a long line of Taxis starting from the Military base and going to the clock tower. Asked her what's up, she said the Taxis are on strike.

She points to a taxi and tells me its a Colombians mans first love. I respond with, yes we all love our jobs even when we hate it. She says no and points again and that's when I noticed a decal of man fucking a goat on a taxi, and that's when I got it. We had a good little laugh about it.
