MOST girls on Tinder (bumble, facebook, colombian cupid) are not working girls. Some of them are, no doubt about it, but they are not majority.

You are talking about weekend warriors, who come down there for party and pussy. They don't even have time to look for regular girls, and what's the point? But there are guys living down there full time, expats, or guys who stay there for extended periods of time, maxing out 180 days limit. They can afford to invest time and effort in finding non pros (even english speaking ones). Who doesn't want to date a decent white guy who has a solid job and some game (as the other poster mentioned), and who is not a weekend warrior?

Also, there is a huge semi-pros category of women. They are not working girls because they don't make a living selling pussy. But they do put out once in a while to supplement income or just have a good time with the right guy, travel, etc.

As it should be. If you are serious about having a relationship and some sort of future then of course, regular girls. But if all you want is what most here want then no need to lie and pretend you want something more. The more honest approach is pay for play.

As to the second part of your comment. If she is a "regular girl" and she is with you she is either looking for a relationship or looking for money.

Unless, in the very rare situation that you are young and she is just looking for sex. Dream on.

I managed to meet some amazing regular women in Bogota and Medellin either through Badoo or FB. You do have to put the effort into it and have some spanish so that you can have a conversation without using the translator much.

Well if you are there for the hookers, are they wrong? If you are a White American guy that does not speak Spanish and only stays in Poblado, what are the chances? So far the intel I can give is that right on calle 10 close to parque lleras and provenza there are a lot of working girls mostly Venezuelan it seems. I guess this applies more to infrequent or short term visitors, depending on what "regular girls" means. Maybe "Americans" is used as a reference to people who aren't Colombian? The broader the generalization the greater the potential for misinterpretation.

They don't treat me badly often. This was the first or second time that happened. Either way me stopping from going isn't going to put a dent in the Isla's pocket I calculated it and seems like they make 100 k revenue every month. Can we try to keep this to experiences and information sharing thread only. I know the city has become weekend warrior paradise.
