Hadn't been at Soi 6 for weeks. Went yesterday and sessioned 3 girls. Two of them wanted 1500, one wanted 2000. The girls stated their price beforehand, also a feature of the "new" Soi 6. When 1000 was standard, girls didn't say anything beforehand. They took the 1000 plus tips or no tips at the end of the session and that was that.

Yesterday I had two girls rejecting me by saying the bar had no rooms. In one of the bar the girl said "no room because police", whatever that meant. Might have been just a novel excuse for rejection, albeit a strange one.

As usual I spotted a handful of top girls (tallish, waist-to-hip ratio below 0.80, thin bones, neotenous facial features, narrow shoulder girth). They all made it clear to me, from a distance and from nearby, in half rude half polite fashion, that I was not wanted.

Hearing these reports of increased prices on the 6 makes me all the more curious to see how it is upon my return. Again, this will Benin August, low season. I still have a few Soi 6 ladies I keep up with on Line and they say it's slow. They also say they'll come to my loom as they did last time for ST 1,000.

I also have a few civvies lined up that will be good for the site seeing aspect of Pattaya, namely Koh Larn.

The price you're talking about might even have been a price from the past when you were still there in October.

Beginning of October, I could get a few girls at that price, by the end of October I didn't find any under 1500 bahts. Of course I didn't ask all the girls, just a few ones that I wanted to bang. That's why I mostly repeated the one that I liked the most from Utopia for 1500 plus many drinks (drinks were paid because I wanted to spend time with her, she never made it a requirement).

For the moment, I think prices are more tending toward 2000 than going back to 1000, but you'll tell us in August.

Thats BS. Prices are not trending towards 2000. There is a shortage of customers and it is proberbly going to continue. You can get lower if you want. You should see what thaimen get when they pay 2000 baht.

Its not an average girl on soi 6. Just ridicoulous! The reason you are saying that is that you want to go in and excuse yourself to pay big money.

We need the US dollar to start to fall to its historical levels. Thats one of the resons behind this jacking up of prices.

When watching YouTube videos they always say the Hamadan most likely will ask for a drink and never decline it otherwise it can come off rude and most of the girls are scared of her (as she's the boss) and you not giving her a drink will make them want to stay clear from you not to piss her off and by giving the drink she'll take care of you every time you come in and help guide you towards a girl that fits your wants but damn good on you you spent a lot of money just on lady drinks etc last time and for them to treat you like this that's a shame. I've been to DR lots and eve try one always wants a hand out and sometimes you have to say no you're not a walking ATM machine that can just give shit away for free all the time it's good you saw the true colours and nice report!

My last gogo review was so long, I started dreading writing the addendum. But here it is.

I visited a few more gogos, including Coco and Sharks off Walking Street, Baccara and Atlantis and one more on WS (only popped in for a minute or two), as well as Catch Me and Top Gun on LK Metro. Plus, I revisited Stunners, but this time it was a disappointment.

So first of all, the gogos directly on WS are absolutely packed, even off season and on weekdays. And by "packed" I mean no seating left whatsoever (perhaps you can squeeze in one thin person). There were even groups of men standing around with drinks in their hands. I moved on to the gogos in the side Sois. Both Sharks and Coco were pretty similar to the average LK Metro gogo. Coco was interesting in that the stage (or stages) where the girls were dancing were in bright white light, and all the girls wore red bikinis / underwear, it gave the place a different feel.

Catch Me and Top Gun on LK Metro had this amateurish feel. Both had some naughty action going on (let's say closer to the Lips Lounge Soi Honey type), not in plain view, but I could easily deduce exactly what was going on. Stunners was a disappointment this time, the girls recognized me, so I bought LDs for 2 ladies that I remembered from last time. This time the mamasan from the get-go very insistently demanded a drink from me, although I didn't even talk to her. She quickly started raising her voice when I politely declined ("maybe later" With the back and forth, the raised voice and it becoming clear I won't be buying the drink, at some point there was an apparent loss of face of the mamasan. The girls moved away a bit, the atmosphere turned less-than-friendly and I had to feign a smile while drinking the rest of my beer. Payed up and left. Why did that happen? After the first visit I was probably classified as a "dumb farang", who throws around money for no good reason, and can be easily pressured. I had spent a "whopping" 1300 THB for 1. 5-2 hours of great fun with 2 ladies, which absolutely shocked them when it was time to pay. They kept on nervously looking at the bill at me, asking me if it's OK, as if expecting me to go ballistic. For the fun I was having it was a very reasonable price, honestly. But ah well, I guess that's one of the risks of going into an establishment frequented mainly by local farangs on a very tight budget.

I also revisited Windmill, the one on the right, ground floor. What can I say, 3rd time was still not the charm. I sat next to the shower, so a there was something to look at, although for 30-45 minutes I only got attention from the very least attractive ladies. The girls seemed to be interested mainly in the older farangs (60+, mostly first-timers in Pattaya) and some, but not all, of the Asian customers. Finally, I was approached by a better-looking girl. It started well, but literally a minute or two later she said she has to go outside for a moment, then she started doing the shower show, completely forgetting about me. And when her memory came back, she grabbed her LD and started drinking so as to finish it well before the show was over. I didn't appreciate the attitude and I just moved over to one of the "naked ladies table", where she actually came to request another drink from me and declined to take the cue of me "just wanting to watch the show now".

My conclusion is that Windmill is OK for watching the shows if you're in the area. Just make sure you know exactly which one you're going to and which floor. You're much better off skipping the LDs entirely, unless you're a 60+ farang who gets glassy eyes and is unable to fully shut his mouth when a naked 25-year old sits on your lap.

Gee, why are my reviews so long? Anyway, that's it for my gogo reviews, but perhaps I'll post one more, about Kink. And I'll probably post part 2 of the "types of customers" - The Dumb Farang, The Old Farang, the Thai Escort, the Farang with a Thai wife (in a gogo), and the Young Farang Couple in a gogo (very rare, but happens).

Not that I pay attention to how many Thai guys go to gogo bars other than it's very few in general. One night really stood out for me though cause it was weird. MP and I went to Termatik (not the name) gogo on Walking Street. I only went in cause a gogo dancer from Glass House pulled me in. There were about 10 girls and the only 2 guys sitting in the bar were Thai guys. They were there the entire time milking their one beer, not saying a word even to one another, expressionless, no eye contact from any girls, only half paying attention to the stage. I do recall guys mentioning that during COVID gogo bars starting letting in Thai men. I also recall on occasion Thai men come in with Farang, likely clients.

I guess not many repeat ladies want to go to the Red Planet for ST LOL.

Please go to your nearest tourist site and try paying the Thai price versus the foreigner price (which is clearly posted). Explain to them how it is unfair and downright evil thing to treat you that way.

Big thing in the news now in Japan is that Japan has started implementing a 2 tier cost structure for tourists and locals. With the Japanese economy slowing collapsing before our eyes the local Japanese can not afford to pay what bargain hunter tourists can easily afford in Japan. I'm all for it cause the other alternative is the locals shunning tourists like what is starting to happen in Kyoto.

I got 1 k regularly on Soi 6 just 8 months ago and the ladies I took were attractive. Certainly not tier 1 ladies, but I would say tier 2 ladies and attractive with nice bodies.

I can't imagine things have changed too much in 8 or so months. It was also the deepest portion of low season (Aug, Sept, Oct) so that must help with getting cheaper rates.

My answer is "as long as I can remember" (and that is as long ago as 30 years and as recently as 6 years).

This is based on first-hand experience; that is, knowing the Thais who have visited Cowboy with me. Also, some upper middle / lower "high class" Khmer dudes. One held a Secretary position in the Thaksin Adminstration. (And, I don't mean a "clerk-typist. LOL) Another was a Thai whose father was the Thai Ambassador to a European country.) Another, an assistant professor at a well-known Thai uni. The Khmer were very successful entrepeneurs and government officials in Cambodia.

Generalizations aside, can be very difficult to really know whether a person is Thai, Khmer, or even Filipino. Even among those groups, they can have difficulty in identifying nationality just by appearance.

Now, in only one case did any of them barfine a "dancer". They were just curious about the scene and all thoroughly enjoyed the evenings. In the one case when one of the Thais did barfine, the mamasan explained that the girl could not be seen leaving with him. He was told that the girl could have a boyfriend in the area and it could make for a problem. She did not want to set a precedent. (Maybe the boyfriend would think she was going to get a lower payment. Ha ha ha) I should note that he did choose a "stunner"; what you might call "the pick of the litter". LOL.

In the handful of occasions of which I speak, not once were my Thai or Khmer friends refused entry or service or ignored by the girls at the biggest and "best" bars on Cowboy.

Thanks, yeah, I base my assumptions on what these groups told me. Social norms and customs are not gravity, there are always exceptions, and the customs can change over the years. Based on my recent experience, Thais are becoming more and more common in the gogos, and they don't bother me in the slightest bit (and vice versa, apparently).

Whether you like it or not farang will always pay more than Thai.

Its not long ago it used to be lower and then prices started moving upward in a way that has nothing to do with the thai economy but instead has to do with some tourists paying far more than the locals. Thaimen are not paying 2000 baht for an average girl on soi 6. It would be something like around 700. Check my picture in this post. This was taken from thai speaking groups that I have seen. And the girls there are cute. At the moment there is little customers and will proberbly stay that way until December. Prices can be negotiated and you can have it for 1000 baht considering most girls are looking for customers.

It happens in many countries and is even official. I went to the main museum in Kolkata, India and I was behind a line of Indians who entered free of charge and I was asked to pay. Same happened at the Victoria memorial in that city and there are probably many other tourist sites with similar payment rules, I suppose you can either pay up or make an about turn.

The ferry river-boat that goes from the Colombia / Perú border to Iquitos, Peru down the Amazon River was charging 80 soles for Peruanos but 300 soles for foreigners.
