You are playing with words. I don't know if sex addiction is a real thing or not, but people can be obsessed with sex even if they are not getting any. And people that will spend thousands of dollars to travel half way around the world for sex might also qualify. Maybe everyone on this forum is a sex addict. If I think of some of the criteria for alcohol addiction most here would be.

I agree. Saying you have a "sex addiction" is like saying you have a "food addiction". We all have these natural urges, some guys pig out (albeit sex, food, etc.) to the point where it affects health, money, and relationships negatively. Then instead of admitting personal responsibility, they claim to have an "addiction".

Many say it causes issues, however working girls love it and even normal girls too. Many have their own private photos and vids right on their phone. Try sharing porn with open minded girls you meet, send them your favorite vids and don't send dick pics! At least until they ask.

Have had a great summer of trading vids and pics with local girls in my area and have made all of them my fuck*****s. I was friendly and patient but once I was able to establish they like the adult vids I have helped them with their x rated urges.

Block porn sites on your wifi router, apps to block on phone. Take up some hobby that involves community meets, learn music, etc.

Just add something to your schedule that makes you less alone.

This is a good thread topic and some good posts. Considering the age profile of SEAsian expats, the above link should be of interest to them and others in old folks' homes or with terminal ailments. Having sex with such folk is a dirty job but someone has to do it. It is even in the Old Testament, an aging King David getting his rocks off with hookers a fifth of his age. Mind you, elsewhere, God tells Hosea to marry a hooker. This would suit some of the cuckolds here.

I guess we will have to soldier on, and pay the hookers, our own one armed bandits.

It has been kind of scary for me. It started in January 2009 with a prostitute and just kind of went from there. I didn't start keeping track until things have really gotten out of hand the last few years.

Sexual addiction sucks your energy. Sex (or even masturbation) is hard on the heart, hard on the body. It can also suck your money dry, depending on what you are doing. It makes you feel tired all the time. It hurts your self discipline and takes a toll on esteem. You are also more impulsive and find it harder to control other urges.

What I've learned is engaging in a sex act with another person is similar to doing drugs like marijuana or alcohol on a spiritual level. When a person drinks alcohol or smokes pot it kind of opens the door to negative forces.

Sex addiction (the compulsive sexual behavior described here) should not be confused with disorders such as pedophilia or bestiality.

For some people, sex addiction can be very dangerous and lead to great difficulties in relationships. Like drug or alcohol dependence, it has the potential to negatively affect a person's physical and mental health, personal relationships, quality of life, and safety.
