I am amazed to see fellow mongers suggesting to start PEP on single episode condom break. If you go to doctors they also make money selling prescriptions or PEP doses. In reality in a country like ours no one would have ever contracted HIV from single condom break from insertive vaginal. So it's best to relax and take hiv antibodies and P24 antigen test on 28th day and rest assured that it will be negative. This should be done only to ease your anxiety.

Pep is not recommended even in West for this kind of case and is provided only to those people who had receptive & insertive anal or receptive vaginal with a person of unknown status.

Appreciate the concern that you show here. It was a Sunday and was late in the evening. So as much as I tried I couldn't get hold of a doctor for this. But I knew I will be back before the 72 hour window, and I was. So got onto PEP within the time period. I know the earlier the better. But still not late. Hoping for the best results to come out!

I've mostly understood all that you explained. I am on PEP for 28 days.

The screen test done indicate that I have no prior infection whatsoever. So that is some relief in the mind.

I'm not panicked but yes a little mindfucked with the entire episode. So, now waiting for the 28 day period to get over and get tested again!

There is no burning sensation or any discharge or any kind of symptoms as yet!

Most transmission of Taker (hole) to Giver (Penis) is when you have unprotected Anal sex usually in Homosexuals due to more change of skin getting sore / bruised in the process.

So I recently took HIV test such as HIV self test ratiopharm, excato HIV selbtestee, ora quick HIV self test.

All the 3 test I have been tested negative.

Should I take any other test such as.

Hepatitis A,be, see.

HPV test.

Any other STD test such as.

Chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis?

I don't show any symptoms.

My friend. When I read these kind of reports of bareback sex; I immediately speak to my 2 Doctor friends. One is in AIIMS and 2nd one in Apollo. They are my bum chum buddies and know about my lifestyle. Both of them have strictly advised me not to indulge. Plus, one time if you are infected with a serious infection; you're fucked for life.
