I've never looked at buying property or a Condo as a real investment especially Pattaya, I used to keep track of property go around in town and Darkside whenever free to just check things out buy years now until recent just stop looking around.

I' also feel that prices are inflated tough I see some of these prices being asked with so much inventory available. I do understand buying just to avoid the rent I have no problem there. You can bargain believe it or not.

When I purchased my house, Darkside the asking price was 1. 9, the original bidder Thai couldn't come up with the final payment timing I offered 1. 8 cash sold. Years later the empty lot next to my house owner asking was 850,000 I offered 700,000 I would paid the transfer tax 30,000 baht. Sold.

My wife first car 650,000 baht 20 years ago, told they gave me all the accessories plus 1 year free insurance can't bargain, come 2018 I wanted to get a new truck, when to car show in Bangkok, several dealerships in Pattaya, price for model I wanted was 890,000 again everything thrown in not being in a hurry kept looking and trying. Bingo, one day dealer I waved him off told him lower 855,000 came back got her to write it down. The dealership was a bit far from my home so I took it to where I purchased 20 years ago wrote down 855,000 or do better Sold!

Condo small complex well run, saw an add for 999,000 on the Big see extra board noticed there were addition ads with the same phone number indicating it was might be an Thai agent? I got the location went down to complex noticed for rent and sale signs on many of the balconies. When in lobby ask could I see some of the rental units basically 28-32 studios, I ask during showing any of the units are for sale I get the head toe treatment LOL, I offer the unit I like end unit 800,000 baht split half half the transfer tax purchased from a Thai building 51% ownership put it under my wife and son name. My thought was if anything ever happened with my marriage this was where I was going to live and die LOL.

You can and should bargain no harm in asking.

The absolutely best return of investment I have found is on Thai Style condos. That is 10 years. Farang style condo forgetboutit.

Maybe if you bought you condo 10 years ago or during COVID. Couple of years my ass!

Besides, in my opinion that is unintelligent reason to buy a condo. I can buy three condos for the cost of the one I am currently renting. Those three condos will provide twice as much rental income as I need to pay rent on the where I live.

I don't run into ladies that are bad at sex in Thailand, if they are inexperienced and don't do much, they usually are young.

I want to recommend the Moo Chuu shop on the 2nd floor of Terminal 21. Moo Chuu custom makes flip flops usually while you wait. You choose from an extensive selection of straps and soles in different types and colors. You can google the Moo Chuu website to see what I am talking about. I took a girl there and bought her a pair of flip flops. She loved the store and enjoyed making her own design.

Thank you Allover for the information on where you can buy flip flops or even have them custom made. I only wear flip flops when: I am on the beach, near the pool, or in a public shower.

Actually I have two ways of buying shoes. 1. Ask ATF to do it for me. 2. Goto Mikes Mall. If you use the Beach road entrance right after you enter the malll, make a right and you will find a lovely shop with a large number of name brand athletic shoes among others.

I have a foot condition from birth. My podiatrist has advised me to continue to wear sturdy athletic shoes. My preference is New Balance and he agrees it is a good choice. But since I have been here (Pattaya) I have also found that the Baoji Brand here in Thailand to be of high quality and at a better price point.

This lower price point allows me to continue to sponsor my girls that do not have husbands or boyfriends. I would never sponsor a girl with a husband or a boyfriend. Of course I do not have access to Jedi Mind Tricks or Vulcan Mind Melds in order to determine if they are lying too me. So I guess I will just continue to make newbie mistakes while living the good life sipping my Sangsom and soda.

My gik was so excited about our trip to Moo Chuu. She had a tough time deciding which style to choose and so because I am a straight baller and shot caller I told her to get two pairs. She was happy with the initial design and changed out of her pair that she wore into the mall to wear one of the pairs I bought her out of the mall. It cost me 550 Baht. That should be doable for even those experiencing severe resource scarcity. It is not like you have to compete with Koreans. The price are fixed for everyone. As they say, a picture is worth 1000 words. LOL!

I'm often the same age as the younger girls' grandfathers. Sometimes I'm older.

I must admit that I like the older girls best, say 30 to 40 years. This trip my youngest girl was beautiful but a terrible performer, she turned 20 last month. One grandfather has passed, but would have been 5 years younger than me. She doesnt know the other grandfather.
