It's true that us Indians as a community have managed to collect lot of negative opinions and stereo typed as haggling, no public behaviour sense etc. However following basic guidelines (that you already have mentioned) will make sure that you have a good time.

I have been to lot of spa's and nuru places in Bangkok and never faced any "not allowed". Of course I didn't go to the ones that are specifically targeted towards Koreans and Chinese. Most of these are located in Soi 33 and nearby. You will do fine in Soi Ari. However its best that you consult mamasan with the girl you choose. Few girls are not service friendly at these parlours are not service friendly. If the mamasan recommends someone and that girls checks your requirement. Go ahead without thinking.

Bangkok is littered with spas, MPs, freelancers etc. Don't get hung on one type of service and explore as much as you can.

I am jealous that you are going to Bangkok and I have to wait. Damn!

Other than Songkran all establishments are open with steady flow of girls. Most massage parlours are either on WA / TG / Line and you can enquire with them. Unless you are super picky, you will get along fine in Bangkok and Pattaya.

Weather is going to be a mix of humid and pleasant evening breeze. Nothing unmanageable compared to Delhi summer loo / heat.
