I just told the waitress that my dad thinks she is not speaking English. He just does not understand her accent, but I do perfectly. OK, I got a mosquito net, but these bastards were already hiding under the bed, and it took some time for me to recognize that they (asian tiger mosquite, Aedes albopictus and yellow fever mosquito Aedes aegypti ) were already within the mosquito net.

Not really girl related, malaria is a real issue here in Mombasa, I didn't realize this and after reading the high odds of getting Malaria I'm a bit paranoid. I had to get a mosquito net for my room because of the constant mosquitos that find them selves in my room, I was killing a few a night and it was difficult to kill them, and it freaks me out to sleep knowing they will sting me when I sleep. I would avoid mombasa for this reason alone, supposedly Nairobi has much less of an issue.

My bathroom is outdoors and always loaded with mosquitos, I have to put on my thick sweartshirt and hood to take a dump, I get swarmed when I live my room.

DUDE, you forgot Chikungunya-Virus (CHIK) fever, LOL. (alpha-virus). Which I got when living in Mombasa-town in 2006 for 2 months! A year later, I developed heavy joint pain in my hips. Up to now I suffer from Polyneuropathy which derives from these nasty mosquito bites. There is no healing from Polyneuropathy. I even can not keep that f*cking name for that fever from that nasty insect!

If you are an old guy, then you won't be able to pick up young girls in the USA so will have to come here if you want young.

You were near CityMall in Nyali, right? There is Swahili Beach bar, I don't know how crowded it is and on which day. Go to visit once and walk on the beach, beach is very nice near there, and you could find girls walking on the beach, I don't know how often and how pretty. Better take motobike to Big Tree. Near Citymall motobikes / tuktuks / taxis ask crazy prizes unfortunately.
