The logic is "I can run a bar better, because there are so many missed opportunities in Pattaya bars. " In addition, the political and economic environment of the West. Has a lot of us on edge and who knows. We might make an illogical decision and dump the IRA early and move there to start a new life. Guys watch these YT videos that show men running bars or living the expatriate lifestyle and succeeding (or at least the video highlights success) - and then think they can do it better. Walking up and down Beach Road, besides the usual suit maker solicitations and massage ladies. Some of us come up with a new great idea for a bar. Instead of a live band playing AC / DC, Eagles (Hotel California) and The Doors over and over all night every night. Maybe something new would work?!

The fact that the hobby is all kinds of illegal in Thailand yet very much tolerated and understood to be necessary for Thailand's prosperity, bodes well for all of us hobbyists. Where else can we go knowing full well we're participating in any number of illegal acts, yet heralded like heroes? Treated like kings. Only Thailand my friends. Only Thailand.
