I too experienced that in my favorite bar: The Cocktail Car (AKA: The Bus Bar). As you know I would post up there once a week. In fact, I think we missed each other there one time. I was looking forward to buying you a drink and showing how The Cmdr operates. ROTFLMAO!

In a few bars, I've been hassled a few times by some waitresses who thought I wasn't drinking fast enough or that I needed to refill my drink. It's the off-season, though, there are 5 seats for 1 customer, I don't stop anyone from sitting down, I take the bar seats, not the armchairs, and I only stay at the bar for an average of 30 minutes. They give me the impression they're bored and that they're spending their time and boredom on the customers who are there, harassing them and justifying their pay (Tahitian Queen and Kink at Pattaya and last night on Billboard at Bangkok).

Did they receive instructions from their superiors or management ? Or is it their nature that comes out in their boredom ? I've never experienced this behavior before. If bars want to drive customers away and I never go back to them, they can just keep going.

I guarantee the girls you are finding for $40 are either a broken 20 year old with an untight puss or hpv or a hair lip, or some sort of deformity or a 30-50 year old desperate woman. I find these girls disgusting so this is why I dislike Pattaya. If you go to the bars or go-gos and find a really hot girl for $200 there is no guarantee of good service and you will hate yourself after either way for overpaying in a country that has a monthly average salary of $450.

LOL. I don't fully condone the way you antagonize some other forum members but I'm with you 100% on this. Thailand is incredibly overrated as a mongering destination. It's not just that a hot go-go bar girl will put you down 200 USD, even if you want to spend that amount chances are you'll have to proposition 3 hot girls in the go-go before one of them accepts to go with you.

In which other mongering country do I get rejected upright by 80% of the young hot working girls? Only in Thailand that I know of.

This being said, let the masses come to Thailand if they want. Better they come to Thailand than ruin the few mongering destinations that still deliver.

In a few bars, I've been hassled a few times by some waitresses who thought I wasn't drinking fast enough or that I needed to refill my drink. It's the off-season, though, there are 5 seats for 1 customer, I don't stop anyone from sitting down, I take the bar seats, not the armchairs, and I only stay at the bar for an average of 30 minutes. They give me the impression they're bored and that they're spending their time and boredom on the customers who are there, harassing them and justifying their pay (Tahitian Queen and Kink at Pattaya and last night on Billboard at Bangkok).

Did they receive instructions from their superiors or management ? Or is it their nature that comes out in their boredom ? I've never experienced this behavior before. If bars want to drive customers away and I never go back to them, they can just keep going.

Any ideas ?
