I've seen guys wear everything, from tank tops, shorts and Crocs / Havaana to a suit and wing tips right from the office, when they visit Scandallo. Basically everything a tourist or short time visitor not on a budget would want are in between Leblon and Botafogo.

So with above said. "Why go to Scandallo instead of Barra? I will count the ways:

1) You don't want to be in / can't be in RJ, whether due to work, prefer the big city, etc.

2) So what if there are a bunch of hot online escorts based out of Barra? There are tons more in SP, whether you want to try your luck picking them up at local spots they congregate at or just browsing from the comfort of your hotel. You don't need to be in Barra for that.

3) The big VIP money isn't in RJ or Barra. It's in SP. They might have vacation homes in RJ, but SP is their home base. 10) Choosing Scandallo isn't "being the ball". It is choosing to play for the New York Yankees rather than the Single A ball Stockton Ports.
