I took a walk on Soi Chaiyapoon last night. Lots of empty bars. Most had a few ladies, but no customers.

The other night, I went to Lips Lounge on Soi Honey. I was told that BJs were available in the bar (its kind of a gogo), and sure enough, within 5 minutes, I saw one.

SCAMS: I define a "scam" as spending money with a provider who lies about what's on offer. Fraud, in other words. In Bangkok on Soi Cowboy you've got the check-padding, cock-teasing bars run by "The Arab." In Pattaya, on Walking Street, if you're dumb enough to patronize the bars offering "Russian girls," you'll pay big money and get nothing. Scam.

In a different category are P4P experiences that are poor value for money. Guys call these "scams," or "ripoffs." But in most cases the punter is drunk and falls for a bit of "puffery" by the provider. Sometimes her attitude is good while making her sales pitch, but poor later on. Again, not a "scam" IMHO. You just choose poorly and/or overpaid.

HOMEWORK: Go back in this forum by at least a year. Two would be better. Read forward. Take notes using the notes app on your phone. Use Google Maps to find the places mentioned. Lots of clubs and bars and hotels have web sites, socials etc. Look them up. You'll learn about the major areas patronized by naughty boys: Walking Street, Soi Six & Soi LK Metro. Plus the areas that are off the beaten path. You'll get an idea of the similarities and differences. You'll see that the P4P experiences vary widely.
