Technically I did do that. However, I had none of the classic symptoms, had not been tested and had no idea I was infected when I got on the plane.

As soon as I developed symptoms, I checked out of my apartment 2 days early, got in my rental car and drove back to Bogota. When I arrived, I scheduled a Covid test. As soon as the results came back positive, I informed the hotel and began sending messages to everyone I had been in contact with. I remained quarantined until 3 days after the symptoms disappeared and had a doctor come to certify I was recovered.

Elvis and MrE like to make things up. Their choice. They prefer to pretend I knew I was infected, but neither of them has been able to explain the discrepancies.

If I knew I was infected and got on the plane, why did I immediately quarantine when I tested positive? If I knew I was infected, why didn't I get tested as soon as I arrived and then get a certificate of recovery before my return flight? It would have saved me a lot of money.

Why would I have informed my friends of my positive test, if I didn't care enough about their health to avoid seeing them?

Let me just add something about Elvis. Long ago he posted something that claimed there was no risk of infecting anyone on a plane. Yet he claims I infected everyone on a plane. How is that possible?

Both he and MrE claimed I infected people all over South America and MrE claimed I infected everyone in Medellin. Again, how is that possible? Especially considering the number of new cases in Colombia dropped during my visit and for at least 3 months after I left?

Infections start 2 to 10 days after exposure to Covid and before omicron, peak time to infection was 5 days. If his brother gave it to him, how could he not have had it in that time frame? He went on a plane when sick and thought he did not have Covid but he did. This was at a time when people thought it was rare that you could catch Covid when vaccinated, and his doctors did not diagnose him with Covid.

Normally, I would not call him out on this and say if your doctors are wrong, you have an excuse.
