Here's something I have never seen in a gogo bar before. Japanese (possibly Chinese) guy sits down. He immediately sees a model on stage he clearly can't wait for. Not even a nice one. She just got on stage. He tells the waitress he wants her. Waitress holds up 5 fingers. I couldn't hear clearly but I thought she said 500 baht for the girl to come down immediately. Waitress grabs girl and she comes down right away. Next thing I see is she has 5 shots in front of her so maybe the 5 fingers were he had to buy her 5 drinks to get her off stage. Then I hear the girl saying something about 500 baht to the guy. Really weird. Someone who knows the current Palace system let me know. Before if the girl had a drink she would dance 1 or 2 songs then whine at mama to get down.

Opium. I don't usually lose my cool in gogo bars but tonight I sort of did. One of the Tomboy waitresses I don't know comes up to me and says I need to order another drink, buy someone a LD or leave. I just ignored her. Grabbed my bill back and put it back in the cup. I said I'll buy LD's when I want to. Over comes running the head waitress. Apologizes to end to me and says sorry we they know I'm a very good customer. I can sit there and not order drinks as long as I want. Then she chews out the Tomboy waitress. I left anyways since my girl wasn't there. On the way out Tomboy says something nasty to me and I let her have it in Thai. Bet she didn't see that coming. On the bright side I finally saw the second decent looking model at Opium #326, albeit flat.

Thing is I never said I met her at 7 11. I only said she works at 7 11. You can meet people anywhere. But I guess for some people it is such a task and takes so much of their energy to even talk to people unless they are 100% sure they will be able to fuck them. However with that theory you can even throw away the bars since guys are reporting spending money on a bunch of drinks just to later on find out the chick does not fuck.

For sure it is possible to strike gold with regular girls in shops, restaurants, malls, skytrains, subway trains and so on if you are ordinarily friendly and open to it. I have done it several times. And most often when I am not even cruising for pussy exactly, just being friendly. I have also been shot down often enough by non P4 P ladies misreading my friendliness for mongering. LOL. Agreed. Some believe its all about "bar girls vs freelancers" when, as you correctly stated, we all know cute thai girls can be found everywhere. At the end of the day, every monger has their own strategy, preferences, budgets, time constraints, and objectives after considering each option on the table.

None of us are new to Pattaya. So those trying to inform others on where to find the "the cheap beach road or cute thai 7/11 chick" don't realize that we already know they're out there.

Example, attached is a Insomnia freelancer I had back in 2017 multiple times but is no longer active (I have no idea what happened to her), I'm sure others had her back then as well. It illustrates the fact that yes, us mongers who enjoy go-go bars still understand there are cute freelancers in other places and we still actively look for them outside of go-gos.

Agreed, and most tourists don't know the difference as most motorbike rental companies don't bother enforcing it. Tourists typically get an international driving permit and think they are legally driving a motorbike in Thailand, but they're not because they only got the permit / stamp for vehicles, not for motorbikes. I made the exact same mistake but luckily never got stopped. So now I don't rent any motorbike unless I had all proper documentation.

International driving licence stipulates what vehicle you are allowed to drive in your own country and thus gives you the right to drive these types of vehicle in countries that recognize the validity of the International driving licence, like Thailand.

People who have the driving licence to drive a motorbike in their own country are legally allowed to drive a motorbike in Thailand as long as they can show the International driving licence and their original driving licence.

I've been through numerous check points in Pattaya and each time I showed my International driving licence I could go through without a problem (but when I didn't have one I was fined).

Anyone can rent one, but driving one legally requires an international motorbike license (not to be confused with an international drivers license which is for a car) and police know most tourist farangs dont have one so one could be paying tickets if they rent one without it. Many motorbike taxis dont bother giving out helmets and the one you get from a rental could be just as grimey.

Remember, majority of Thai police can't read English they are taught what generally the book looks like and area thaat need to be stamped to drive a car or motorbike. Today in Pattaya it is rare to see checkpoints if any Soi 9 near police station.

Correct although police heads keep telling don't rent to unlicence they continue it just hot air. Regardless one better know what they are doing especially know what the bad habits of driving here by Thais.

There hss been numerous stories of foreigner having accidents that carry travel insurance not covering for number of reason better read the fine print.

In the end it comes down to driver attitute cause there is no special training for Bolt, Grab etc. They come all from the same school which is no school at all in my view.

Foot pegs fold up. If you put your foot under it and apply any type of pressure then it is going to close. You also risk buring yourself on the exhaust pipe. Handle bars on the back of a bike? I have been riding motorcycles damn near since I could walk and I do not understand any of this.

Excellent, these owners arent real business people from Bloomberg as you note their plan is more in the sense make money screw the customer.

During Covid owners took heavy losses those who came into the game late with Nightwish group took the heaviest losses many who had investment, full or part ownership gone. Once open their plan wss to make it back and quick thus the plan todat to monopolize the industry with contracts where ladies have to sell drinks to equal their salaries. Goal of everyone adopts to the game what choice for customer it becomes standard pay it or go somewhere else. That is why Asian now go to Soi 6, owners know so they adopt the same plan.

This is a prime example of why I do not "loan" money to chicks. I had never done it before because I learned from other people's mistakes. But I decided to go ahead and undertake this experiment myself with it being such a meager amount.

On June 5 the chick I pay for sex that works at 7 11 hit me up asking to borrow money. I have known her since before covid and she has never asked before. She said she needed 200 baht for her daughter to go on a field trip at school and she would pay me back on June 10.

Sure why not. But I said I will even send an extra 100 baht that you do not have to pay back so that she can also buy food on the trip.

June 9 came and she asked me to borrow another 200 baht saying she lost her wallet and needed to buy food. In the over 5 years I have known her she has never asked me for money, but this time asked to borrow money twice in the span of 4 days. I told her no. I said I am waiting for tomorrow when you give me the other 200 baht back. She said well I will not have the money until the 15th. I say okay I will wait until the 15th. Then she still begs for 200 more baht. I said I can not. I am still waiting for the other 200 baht. Then she changes to wanting 100 baht. I still say no. Then she says why not as if it is my duty to loan money to her. She asks me why I am so mean.

June 15 comes and goes and not a word from her. June 18 I send the QR code so she can send the money back to me. She says why are you so mean. I said you said you will send the money on June 15 and now is June 18. She has not responded since. Today is June 23.

You do it one time and they are going to keep asking on top of not wanting to pay you back to begin with. I threw away 300 baht to learn something that I already knew. Good thing I am not fool enough to do it with thousands or even hundreds of thousands like many guys have done. I am not a financial institution and have no desire to be one.

I went to dozens of go-gos on my last trip and looked at countless lineups and to me this is the result of that legwork. This is why I still go to Pattaya.

The owners of high rollers are 2 young Guys. Nothing to do with Flowers and Nightwish.

As independent as they could be. They really get involved in the bar organizing pool teams, sports events, music nights etc.
