It's 11:30 pm and I'm home writing on ISG again instead of being out. Why? Cause gogo bars have been mildly disappointing since that wondrous first night I had about 10 days ago.

XS was the winner tonight. I liked model 433. Didn't do the 100 baht trick because I figured she'd come to me after me making her LOL on stage. Well it wasn't for her lack of trying she did try to make her way over until she was grabbed by mamasan to sit with this Japanese guy. He never let her out of his sight after that. Finally hit Soi 6 this afternoon. Lots of different opinions on Soi 6 and I'm sure I'll just add more fuel to the fire. Arrived after 3 pm. Needed 2 full lengths of the Soi to finally choose a bar with more than one potential girl. Walked back up to Foxy Bar. My friend is a Soi 6 expert and he was frustrated how long it took me to pick a bar. I didn't say it but cmon now we're not dealing with top gogo girl quality here by any means. We eventually moved to the back of the bar since I wasn't too interested in me being on YouTube with my tongue down a girl's throat. A couple minutes later Mamasan brings every girl in the bar (maybe 20-25 girls?) and had them stand in front of us until we chose a girl. I chose the one I walked into the bar for my friend who said he's not buying LD today chose another girl sadly prettier than mine! Hate when that happens. I wasn't having too much fun with my girl as she didn't speak much English. Why I much prefer gogo girls who all speak English well. I hate conversations through Google Translate. I am just trying to understand why people choose to do what they do. You say go-gos are good for tourists with limited time. So how does that work? How do go-gos save you time compared to Soi 6 or any short time bar, or any beer bar?

I think it involves some sort of relativity or space time continuum that is impossible for us mortal mongers to understand. It is impossible to say Hello, beautiful to a pretty girl during any of the 24 hours that you may be out and about at any other place in Pattaya due to time constraints. But if you can manage to wait until that slim 8 hour window that the gogos are open time works differently. It tends to stand still until you can go into dozens of gogos looking at countless lineups, allowing you to find one Eureka before it snaps back to the passage of time that we are all used to.

Thats right! And I don't have time to go searching through every 7/11 to find it.

I went to dozens of go-gos on my last trip and looked at countless lineups and to me this is the result of that legwork.

No understanding is needed of why I like Blow Job Bar, Gentlemen's Clubs, Massage Places, Thai Friendly and Beach Road. They all are different. It is like asking, why are you paying more Steak, than you do for chicken.

Usually I find that people that have a problem with what someone else pays fall in to two categories:

Elitists: They want to say "my prostitutes are more attractive and wholesome than your prostitutes" because the amount of money I pay for them.

They have a problem with their disposable income so they talk about what other people are paying.

I personally think everyone should pay what they want. I don't need any understanding of why. What I do not like is if I give prices on the costs of going to Beach Road that I got to hear it from someone who does not like Beach Road so they talk shit.

Everybody has preferences. Because I am eating some Khao Man Gui (50 THB) today for lunch does that mean I cannot afford to have a ribeye at my favorite restaurant for (1000 THB) tomorrow. The corollary of that is why someone needs to understand why I paid 1000 THB for my ribeye. The only reason some might have that question is if they don't like steak or have some other personal preference.

I like agogos. It was pointed out to me by Banana Boi that you can sit in them and have a drink for yourself, take in the sights and enjoy. For a very reasonable price. You do not have to buy Lady Drinks. I don't take girls from agogos because I simply cannot stomach the pricing structure. One girl from an agogo is a full night on the town with my ATF complete with bottle service with for friends. So far in my visits I have only met one girl that I considered worth those numbers. I almost pulled the trigger but I didn't. Maybe if someday I have money to burn I would. But I can take the money I would use on taking agogo girl out and rent a hotel room for the night and fuck three girls off of Beach Road or Thai Friendly.

That might not be your personal preference But it does not mean that I cannot afford to take the agogo girl. It just means I choose to spend the same amount of money in a different manner. No one needs to understand it. Why? Because I am a grown man.

Several years I would say 10, my cousin brought a friend we grew up but there were lots of years in between in which I never spoke or saw but did know he had to retire early from his job due to obtaining a injury which put him on disability he was barely able to get around then. I couldn't understand why the misses, Soi 6 girl came to his room 15 minutes took off, same with the GoGo. I was curious so we made a visit to his hotel which was across from the International Hospital just to chat. Here's something I have never seen in a gogo bar before. Japanese (possibly Chinese) guy sits down. He immediately sees a model on stage he clearly can't wait for. Not even a nice one. She just got on stage. He tells the waitress he wants her. Waitress holds up 5 fingers. I couldn't hear clearly but I thought she said 500 baht for the girl to come down immediately. Then I hear the girl saying something about 500 baht to the guy. Really weird. Someone who knows the current Palace system let me know. Opium. I don't usually lose my cool in gogo bars but tonight I sort of did. One of the Tomboy waitresses I don't know comes up to me and says I need to order another drink, buy someone a LD or leave. Several years ago before Covid, I was at Bacarra even then there were Chinese from the Mainland going to the place. I've seen old school Chinese do this in H. K. , Mainland, one night I was sitting in the second road, in front several Chinese talking Mandarin could have been HK, this habit I've seen growing up being around my pop, Uncles, older cousins and brother, they see something they like immediately calls them regards of the routine they are suppose to follow. Them days if you like the girl dancing just signal to waiter tell them the girl and they will break protocol tell the waiter what type of drink and down they come. This moment while the girl was sitting with him started to inspect her like a race horse, checking out the teeth, face, ears as if the Asian guy was planning to marry her in a arrange marriage or something. I also mentioned this several months ago things to come at popular places particularly at XS, I started to go because it didn't seem any girls knew me not being cheap not much of a drinker but use the happy hour draft beer thing to sit and check things out. Since same owner XS for Pin up I expect the same but didn't noticed it. You don't want to say Thais are stupid but it is a very common thing what the tom boy did as if no one could understand what they are saying. This is all about loss of face they got to get the last word in why because this is Thailand!

I checked out Opium last Saturday got a good seat in the middle but of course eye is in the eyes of the beholder saw lots of girls set up like XS and Pin Up but nothing that stood out for me.

Agreed. Some believe its all about "bar girls vs freelancers" when, as you correctly stated, we all know cute thai girls can be found everywhere. At the end of the day, every monger has their own strategy, preferences, budgets, time constraints, and objectives after considering each option on the table.

None of us are new to Pattaya. So those trying to inform others on where to find the "the cheap beach road or cute thai 7/11 chick" don't realize that we already know they're out there.

Example, attached is a Insomnia freelancer I had back in 2017 multiple times but is no longer active (I have no idea what happened to her), I'm sure others had her back then as well. It illustrates the fact that yes, us mongers who enjoy go-go bars still understand there are cute freelancers in other places and we still actively look for them outside of go-gos.

AGREED. Soi 6 is designed for 1,000 thb ST 1 Hour Upstairs. If guys want to take girls home before midnight, they should go somewhere else. The entire point of Soi 6 is having the rooms upstairs so girls can have multiple customers per night. I'm glad Nightwish and other bars make the barfine expensive before midnight as otherwise, all the hottest looking girls are gone.

For those who are hung up on pricing, Soi 6 has become a a no go. Why? Because they want to take the girls out of the bar. If you want to fuck a soi 6 girl outside of the bar, they will get you for 2500 Barfine before 10 PM. It slowly goes down until closing time. If you don't want this, fuck them in the short time rooms above the bar. This is how the Nightwish group discourages taking the girls out of the bar early. They want them there drinking until midnight. I know managers there and they tell me if they didn't do this, all the girls would be gone by 10 PM and they may as well just close early.

Bar fine after midnight if the inflated price bothers you. Or just fuck them ST in the rooms upstairs.
