It's a hybrid go go bar that uses the same gents club model as the Pimp, but they also have short time available with all the ladies. Hourly rates for girls drinking with you are very cheap. ST is 2500 baht including the room. It's quite a bit cheaper but there are a lot of hotties working there. Thai and Chinese customers are the main clients that go there with a few westerners like me.

Yes, that was when I went to that club 2-3 times. I lived near that area for a year or two before I moved to the Nana area so that was my nearest "go-go" bar.

I felt quite welcome there every time I went. Bought trays of fruit and snacks for the girls. And drinks. Jokes and cute stories all around. A pleasant enough time. Good place to practice my earliest Thai language skills.

It has been years since I went there so I have no idea what it is like now.

I've been to enough Thai bars and Thai discos to know that even if I go alone I get very dirty looks if I start buying a drink for one of "their girls". Never been to T-Ded but if it's like the places I go to you need to tread gently.

I've been to many of these group meet ups around the world and it's usually a group of "oddballs" of a wide age range and race that girls wonder how we all "know" each other. A meet up at Thermae may be more suitable cause that's just a cluster fuck of "oddballs" anyways.

This is absolutely not correct. They welcome foreigners in groups as well as loners who speak Thai. Ask for Khun Nut. He speaks perfect English and will hook you up. I have hosted 3 meet ups there already and never had any issues. I will try to do one on the 27th and you are welcome to come if I can get one organized.

T-det is the name of the best bar there. The girls often dance on stripper poles and then come around to drink with customers. There is a very small fee to have a lady sit and drink with and the beer is cheap. There are no lady drinks and the bar really pushes you to order food for you and your chosen companion. Here, there is no bar fine. The shirt time rate is 1,500 baht for Thais and 2500 for farang. I normally pay 2000 as I am a regular. You will need to take the lady across the street to the hotel and the hotel is often included in the price you pay the bar. I often will also pay 2,500 and take the girl to my condo close by. You can get topless lap dances for 100 baht. For the local scene, paying upfront is the norm. If you don't want to pay first, don't take the chance and don't go swim with the local fish. All experiences are YMMV and Thai language skills will get you far. A good change of scenery.

If it's still like it was pre-covid you won't get a dirty look from Thai customers. These guys are there for their own entertainment. Most probably if you're entertaining one of the girls one of these guys is eying, what he could do is call her over and spend more money on her than you're doing.

But expect to tip everyone in that kind of place, girl, waiters, waitress, managers, even the door man.

Look of the girls was below the quality that one could find in a touristic located gogo bar too, so not sure why everyone looks interrested in that place suddenly.
