To be fair, every mongering destination is a shell of its former self, nothing is better today than it used to be back in the day: DR, Brazil, Thailand, Dubai, Colombia etc. All used to be far better 10-15+ years ago in terms of talent, natural beauty, service, prices, clubs, less cell phones and social media, etc.

But overseas life is still better than anything America can offer. As you suggested, I'll take DR on a bad day over Miami on a good day. When you can walk into a club and know you can basically have almost anyone you want, that's the greatest feeling in the world for a man. And the diversity of DR women will bring a man to his knees: light skinned, dark skinned, tall, short, big ass, big tits, they have it all.

Yes, these mongering places used to be far better decades ago, but they still get the job done when compared to anywhere else.

Each destination has its fans. Something for everybody. Everything for somebody.

Sosua is more than a two block stroll on Pedro.

It has clean beaches, many more within a 10 minute ride. Great snorkeling / diving on the reefs, varied international cuisine restaurants, German, Italian, Mexican, Sea food, and a good steak can be had for a price!

A well integrated multiracial, multi sexually oriented society, relative safety and societal and political stability.

Then there's the chicas!

The most diverse female population you'll find anywhere. All sizes, shapes, colors of the rainbow. If you can't find it here, you'll never find it! No chinese Dollar Store cookie cutter clones and droids.

You deal direct up close and personal with your freelance provider, A challenge for some, to be sure, but you can hone your skill to eliminate 99% of the newbie problems, with a little common sense.

While there is no doubt Sosua is not what it once was. It still provides some great options for 1000's of guys every year. On this trip I saw lots of white guys everywhere. Their bars were packed more then I have seen with Europeans.

Well as AS777 said it has been raining like the end of the world and it has been a record month for rain. In the dry spells there really were a lot of women around. Like always there are a lot more "5"s than "8"'s but they are there. Those of us that have regulars and girls that want to be regulars are afraid to pick up our phones. They all want to come over. If it is shitty weather and you are searching- You might want to try going to Rancho Typico. The waitresses there are basically there to get picked up and there's usually more waitresses than customers.

Like all retail commodities, the game is moving online. Smart chicas are not interested in wading thru flooded streets in the rain at 2 am looking for a drunk monger. They have options.

Today it's all about your contact list. Even weekend warriors now pre-book their entertainment.

The tough part is for casual newbies, who don't have the time to generate a stable of doable reliable. For them it's hit or miss!

But as you say, the chica's are there, and it may cost you a drink to access them, but the semi pros (waitresses) tend to be picky.

DR set a record for visitors in 2024, and expect an increase in 2025.

The rain not withstanding gone are the day one can show up the week before Christmas and get hot girls. Those day were over 10 years ago. Now the only ones left during these day are the hood rats ie the town regulars who are there all the time you gave terrible advice. A couple of weeks before the Superbowl and everything should be back to normal which for Sosua isn't that great nowadays.

Had lunch with a Brit and Canadian. The way they rolled was very different fro me. 1st they avoided Dominican women like the plague. Haitian women were there 1st choice. Felt the chicas were more trouble then their worth. We were the same age by in large. They had girls they knew and maintain contact for a few years. I stand corrected, dismal week with constant rain, flooding land slides and a lawyers office explosion, so for the weekend warriors or if you were scheduled for Christmas week. Most likley a shitty weekend.

How ever if you had a few trusted repeats to hook up with and attend a few Christmas partys you good to go, hopefully the weather gets better and after new years should get back to normal!

I was here once before 15 years ago and there was a lot more action then. I can't compare year to year for recent times. I can relate that it rained hard the last 2 days which wiped out pretty much all the action. I arrived yesterday. Got to the Hotel Alicia about 6 pm after spending a long day flying to STI. Had to get up at 3 am to catch my flight from Ohio. I had prearranged a taxi from the airport. The best I could do was $90. All of the ATMs at the airport were out of money.

I am pleasantly surprised with the Hotel Alicia. I got one of the bungalow rooms by the pool. Good size room, good location, comfortable bed and nice size shower with plenty of hot water. I usually stay at the New Garden but their prices seem to have increased so I figured I'd try something new.

I was near zombie mode after the long travel day and I knew I wasn't going to pull anyone but did head down to the strip around Bar Central around 8 pm to get something to eat and a couple of beers before crashing.

There was the usual assortment of overweight, aggressive girls out but there was a surprising number of cuter, young flacas working the street and the bars. It was a Friday night so I am not getting too optimistic but will definitely head back down there tonight.
