I am visiting BKK for first time next week. I have been reading on what to expect from Thermae and freelancer rates. It sounds like the average freelancer rate at Thermae right now is 2000-3000 BHT for short time and one shot. Can someone tell me what what is typical for a second shot? Is the second shot typically negotiated up front? I have been searching these boards for this info. Thanks.

Can't comment on the Thermae but I did try the freelancer route both in BKK and Phuket. It's pretty straight forward in that you negotiate what you need. For me the 2nd shot is sometimes wishful thinking depending on how much drinking was done. My experience is very recent I. E. Dec 4-12. With the 3 or 4 freelancers I asked for it and could only do it in one instance. However all stayed with me about 2 hours which is my time limit before I bail to sleep. I assume if my stamina isn't back in that timeframe then so be it. I sometimes just use the extra time to get a rub or rub the tits, etc. Also, the price in BKK was lower, I think 2000 all-in about 2500 BHT for Phuket. Yet I found amazing girls in Phuket on the thaifriendly site. Also accurate pics with less photoshop at least in my limited experience, YMMV.

Yep. Same as it ever was.

I saw an advertisement for a dispensary online just like the one that is in that screen shot. I clicked on the contact link and sent them a message using Facebook Messenger. I immediately got a response back that they were closed for New Years, but would be open the next morning. But they were willing to deliver to my hotel. It felt just like New York City, except in New York City, there are less than 100 licensed dispensaries and more than 2000 existing dispensaries (see https://www.nytimes.com/2024/03/22/n...ary-legal.html). I assume that all of the dispensaries in Bangkok are actually legal, suggesting that there are even crazier places in the world than Thailand.

By the way, I agree with Steve9696 about Sao Paulo being right up there as one of the best places to monger in the world. I am not quite as keen on Sharks (an FKK in Frankfurt). I have only been there four times, but it was smoke filled and sometimes the Romanian girls were all huddled together and were a bit rude. Don't get me wrong, I like Sharks, but Frankfurt as a sex destination did not always work. I have tried the Eros Towers there but could never find the GFE experience that I was looking for.

After BKK and Sao Paulo, I vote for Medellin. Lots of possibilities there! Finally, there is the Dominican Republic, which I truly love. I almost exclusively do "non-pros" there (ie, girls who never look for money by doing prostitution but are unlikely to say no if offered compensation for sex). And the minimal time changes are far less painful in Brazil and the DR than BKK or Frankfurt. Sao Paulo is only 10 hours from JFK and the DR is only 4. These countries get honorable mention: Spain, Kenya, Cuba, Denmark.
These countries were a disappointment: China since 2008 was by far the biggest disappointment (Beijing and Shanghai used to be outstanding and now they are terrible). In addition, South Korea, Taiwan, Sweden, Hungary and Czechoslovakia have all fallen short of expectations.

Gentlemen, I have a question that is very subjective. Long story short: I'm an east coast (US) guy. I have a trip to Tijuana coming up in a couple weeks. I'm considering canceling that trip and taking that money and buying a ticket to BKK. I've never been to Thailand. My question: is 5-7 days enough to enjoy the trip? I know the flight is brutal. Perhaps I should add, I'm really most interested in nuru massage. I'd probably hit up some gogos a couple nights. But the primary purpose would be for the massages. If I can get over 30 hours each way for 6-ish days on the ground, is it crazy to do for a short trip?

On the one hand and IMHO BKK or Pat are great for the short 6-night visit. The action and venues are varied. The entertainment fun starts around noon every day right outside your hotel and ends when you want it to. For 6 nights choose one: BKK or Pat and enjoy the bounty! Tip: if you choose to visit BKK because you are looking for quality nuru, be sure not to overlook the top SOAPY massage parlors like Black Caviar, La Belle, or Maria Massage. You will not find nuru and these top-notch joints, but you will find quality girls and more times than not great service.

On the other hand, the 24 hour, minimum flight time, from South Florida to BKK vs. The 8 hour non-stop flight time from South Florida to Sao Paulo has greatly influenced my travel itinerary since 2021. SP is not BKK, I miss BKK and all the out in the open sexuality, commercialization, and glitter, and the food, but SP has very, very hot girls available at 2 different price points, relatively inexpensive (clinicas / afternoons) & expensive (boates / night).

Pre covid I used to travel SE Asia for around 12 weeks per visit annually. The reward always seemed worth suffering the 24 hour flight. Tip: get a prescription for Ambien from your physician. Change your watch to local BKK time upon boarding your plane and take an Ambien on the plane to sleep during the flight. Then take take another one when it is time to fall asleep at your destination to avoid the jet lag. Back in the day when Hong Kong was great, I used to stay over there for a couple of nights and then ferry down to Macau for 5 nights, before flying to BKK. It saved some initial flight time and those HKG Vietnamese & Chinese mainland girls in Macau were something.

Post covid I been travelling to SP, Brazil 2 or 3 times a year for 3 to 6 weeks per visit. I love the girls and the food is good although not as good as the food in BKK. I miss BKK, Pat, Phnom, Jakarta and Macau. The next time I can free up 10 to 12 weeks for travel I will go there.

Steve, SP reminds me of Jakarta a little where most of the naughty venues are scattered around town and found behind discreet closed doors. I have never been to the German FKK's, so I would say my favorite punting destinations in alphabetical order are: BKK, Jakarta, Macau, Pattaya, Phnom Penh, and Sao Paulo. I can have a great time in any one of these places with great girls. I would also include, but a little bit further down the best list is: Manila, Phuket, Yangon.

Yes its legal and available everywhere. But even if it wasn't your 70 yo friend is insane to think about smuggling it in. Does he want to spend the rest of his short remaining time in a Thai prison? That's assuming he passes US airport security without getting caught. WTF is wrong with people? I thought I had heard of every stupid thing people could do while visiting SEA but this takes it to new levels!

Everybody is different. I have friends that have only come for 2 or 3 days. An old Navy buddy's first time he came 3 days over Memorial Day weekend. On his way back home, during his stop over in Hong Kong he booked to come back again for 3 days during July 4th weekend. I have a buddy that came last month for 2 days. He stopped in Korea first and visited my brother for 1 day. I tell everybody they should at least do 6 days, but that is only because they may want to have stuff made.

But like I said everybody is different. Some people go into a hotel room and take all of their stuff out of their suitcase and arrange it in the drawers and closet like they are moving in. Some people like me can walk into a room and drop their bag and walk right out and start enjoying themselves. 1 day is better than 0 days, and no matter how long you stay, it will not be enough.

Seems you have quite a few answers — some yes and some no. I'the ask / answer a different question. If you were to go to somewhere other than Tijuana where should you go? Seems like you have been to Colombia? Where else? Not knowing where else you have been I'the offer the following:

Yes it is worth the pain to go to Thailand at least once, even if only six days on the ground. Definitely! (More on why below). But is it worth that pain to go again? Maybe not.

I think there are three primary girls destinations that every man should see — and for different reasons. My top three in order are:

São Paulo Brazil. Has venues for every budget and by and large the most sexually activated girls on the planet. If you like GFE and passionate girls you cannot beat Brazil. They must teach making out and BJ in middle school because I've never met a brasileira who won't kiss like you are her boyfriend. And the selection is mind blowing. Frankfurt / Zurich. The German FKK. Club with sauna, buffet and tons of naked women. What's not to like. A bit sharky and prices have escalated. You're not fucking anyone for $50 usd these days. But still quite a spectacle. Globe in Zurich is actually better for guaranteed good bedroom experience but Sharks in Frankfurt is more of a spectacle.

So yes. You must do Thailand. But for the spectacle not for the quality of the girls / sex. I would recommend you try the other two as much shorter flights. But def Thailand on the bucket list.

Depending on your age, jet lag is not really a big deal. It'll effect old timers like me more, but I power through. Got to get in as much fucking as I can. But 5 to 7 days is really kinda short for a half way round the world trip like that. I'd say, give yourself minimum 10 days at least. There's so much to enjoy in Bangkok. The sights, the sounds, the foods, the chicks! Dude, all I can say is load up on your red bull cause don't waste your time sleeping. If you can manage 3 hours a night, you should be able to fuck aplenty in just 7 days. Make the most of it. The only downside is that Bangkok can be so addictive, you'll be dying to come back again. It's like the Hangover 2 said - "Bangkok has him now".

Don't waste your time with nana or cowboy. Go for a night each just to say you've experienced it. It's more expensive now than it's ever been. Massage joints, oilies and soapies is where it's at. You pick the chick from a line up, the hourly rate is way more reasonable. No mamasan hassle, don't have to bother with lady drinks or other obnoxious bar patrons. I'd say don't even bother with Thermae. I always give the same advice. Stick to the massage joints. Like the ones in Phrom Phong. You'll thank me later. Have fun at pound town!

Rapid time shifting is painful! Studies of circadian rhythm (which is measured by looking at changes in core body temperature, serum cortisol levels, serum or salivary melatonin levels, etc) show that one cannot time shift more than one hour in each 24 hour period. In other words, to completely change time zones and feel normal, it would take a person from New York City 12 days to get into the Thai time zone. Your brain will rebel if you try and do this any more rapidly (even though some people seem to tolerate this pain better than others).

But for the typical sex tourist in Bangkok for a week holiday, rapid time shifting is unnecessary. All you need is a room in a hotel with curtains that truly block out the sun (so you can sleep during the daylight hours) and you are set.

The strategy is simple. Let's say that you usually go to be bed in New York at 10 pm and awaken at 6:00 am. In Thailand, you can go to bed at 10 am and wake up at 6:00 pm and your body will feel great. No need to fuck with your circadian rhythm whatsoever and you can still take advantage of the great restaurants and the party scene, which honestly doesn't get going until 10 pm or later.

This approach won't work for the business traveler (or someone from Europe, Africa or Asia), but if your "business" is enjoying the company of sexy Thai women, becoming a night owl for a short period will be painless.

I agree. The last time I made a trip to South East Asia, and then back again, the jet lag really did a number on me. I like to think of myself as a pretty seasoned traveler, especially flights to half way round the world and back again. And in my younger days, it didn't bother me too much. I used to wonder what were people talking about 'jetlag' and so on. But at my old age now, for the first time in my life I actually felt the jet lag. I mean, I felt it. Took me damn near 2 weeks to really get back to normal.

But would I put up with it for a chance to be in Thailand again. You betcha! Anything to bang babes again. Anything. I'd sell my soul if anyone can direct me to someone willing to buy.
