Jobs Friday wont be happening again this week as the record-long government shutdown has resulted in a lack of official data on the labor market as well as a host of other important indicators.

Had the Bureau of Labor Statistics released its monthly nonfarm payrolls report, economists surveyed by Dow Jones expect it would have shown a decline of 60,000 jobs and an unemployment rate increase to 4.5%.

Other data points collected over the past several weeks paint a broad mosaic of a weak though not collapsing labor market.

But it probably did factor in to producing that sweet little off-year election Blue Wave this week. So at least America finally got something positive and of genuine value out of a Repub MAGA Trump tax and economic policy. Which is only the second time that has happened, the election of Biden-Harris in 2020 being the first.

Law enforcement when trying to get drugs off the streets don't really care about the low level dealer. That low level dealer is a nobody and he will be replaced in 2 seconds should he be locked up. The drugs will be back on the street almost instantly.

The goal of Law enforcement is to capture the source or the people who are pumping the drugs out on a mass scale to the low level dealers.

Border Patrol is the same, the smuggler is a "pawn" in the game of drug smuggling. The Cartel or source is the "King" that Law enforcement needs to capture to eliminate the drug flow. The problem is that is almost impossible when the cartel is in a foreign nation. The next logical solution is to secure the border and remove people from that country who may engage in smuggling or dealing deadly drugs like fentanyl.

So when I say, "I don't care who brings it in" I really don't. Paco and Juan are just evil scumbag pawns. They are worthless nothings. The real policy which will solve this problem, is border security and immigration enforcement.
