Posts: 1468The Effect of Geopolitical Events on Oil Prices on Airline Tickets
I thought this was more or less obvious, but perhaps I was wrong, so let me explain these variables using myself as a real-life example.
1. So, I was in Sao Paulo in May & June 2026 having a real good time with my branca mistress every night and hitting the SP clinicas every other afternoon for a little variety. But then I started thinking it was a fucking long time since I was in the LOS, and I kind of missed the place.
2. But the Iran War was kicking up a fuss (the interruption of gulf oil tanker flow) and WTI (West Texas Intermediate) crude oil prices had gone over $100/ barrel. I knew that would have a negative effect on Airline tickets to BKK, but I took a look see anyway and yep, prices were sky high, so I put my idea on hold.
3. In July I was back home in the free state of Florida (mango season) and all the news was about a possible deal between the USA and the Mullahs and WTI (crude oil) prices were back around $72/ barrel, so I took a look at Airline ticket prices to BKK again and guess what? They had gone down more than the price of crude. I guessed that demand for air travel and declined substantially when oil was above $100 and had not picked up sufficiently YET since oil was back under $75/ barrel and thus the airlines' nonlinear profit maximizing algorithms were telling the airlines to lower their seat price to sell a bunch of tickets and stimulate demand. In other words, I saw an opportunity to get what I wanted, a ticket to BKK as part of an around the world series of flights at a really good price.
4. So, I started shopping around for tickets to fly from MIA to GRU to BKK to FLL. The cheapest flights from GRU to BKK changed planes in the Gulf. The next cheapest flights changed planes in Istanbul. And the most expensive flights, although historically still a pretty good, changed flights in Paris or Amsterdam, or Germany. There were no transpacific flights from GRU to BKK. I knew instantly the Emirates were too risky no matter how cheap it was. The Istanbul route was the most reasonable and made a lot of sense, but what got me to pay up for one of the most expensive route was that GRU to AMS was on KLM and the connecting flight to BKK was Thai Airlines (always a favorite of mine and usually too expensive to consider), but not this time, so I booked GRU to BKK with KLM / Thai. And I also booked separately all the other necessary flights my travel plans required, all at a very good prices thanks to the prevailing momentary view that Iran and the USA were close to a deal and the airlines were offering big bargains to stimulate demand as a result.
5. So, guess what: the Mullahs and the USA did not reach a deal, and it looks like Trump is going to wipe them off the face of the planet after the November elections. Anyway, this is the current worldwide opinion and whether it foretells the future or not, WTI crude oil prices are back up to $100/ barrel AND Airline tickets to BKK are super expensive again. Quelle surprise!
6. Thus, this is my best advice to all ISG punters who want to visit BKK or Pattaya, or CGK or MNL and do not have airline tickets: Relax and take it easy. Oil prices will go back to the $70 range once the world has a better idea of what is going to happen in the Gulf. Trump and the Mullahs may reach a deal and then oil prices will fall big time. Trump and the Mullahs may not reach a deal in which case Trump will hit the Iranian infrastructure and wipe out their electric grid. Oil may go higher after that in the short run, but eventually the regime will crumble and when it does oil prices will drop below $70/ barrel and airline tickets to BKK will be offered at bargain basement prices for a short time thereafter.
7. So, buckle your seatbelts, it may be a bumpy ride, but eventually everything will be ok. In the meantime, Americans who want to get their dick's wet should go to Tijuana or Costa Rica, or Cartagena for some fun and you Europeans should stay put and enjoy your FKK's. Me, I played the game pretty good even if I do say so myself, so I will be with the Missus in Sao Paulo in October and do my long-awaited BIG TRIP starting in early March 2027 in Sao Paulo and then landing in BKK right after Songkran.
I understand that we all enjoy shagging pretty girls, but at the same time I think we all should keep in mind that there ARE more important issues at hand. Getting rid of this terrorist regime in Iran will give the entire middle east a chance at a new way of living without killing and terrorizing each other. Think what it would be like to fly into Teheran one day and have great times in some nightclubs with the local girls. 555/ KKK.

Posts: 1375What are you talking about? There are flights from NYC to Bangkok and back for 800 bucks! I want to thank President Trump for these cheap flights!

Why would I want more mongers to come to Thailand to drive up the prices? It's pretty weak if you ask me to not be able to fly to Thailand because it cost you 800 bucks. It's laughable.
I'm even considering canceling my flight to Tel Aviv for the elections and head to Bangkok instead, because I can afford it easily.
I mean, we all can have opinions about President Trump but in the end of the day we have to look ourselves in the mirror and take responsibility for the choices we have made in our lives and the financial outcome of those decisions. I feel pretty darn good! Hopefully President Trump will keep up the great work and not let the Iranian regime off the hook.
Finally things are looking up!

What is the purpose of ISG? The purpose of ISG is to share information on having sex with girls.

While the Democrats hug trees and sit round talking about a green new deal the Republicans are putting the A back in the first A in NASA!
The SR-71 Blackbird consumed approximately 36,000 to 38,000 pounds of fuel per hour (roughly 16,000 to 17,000 kg / h) while cruising at its maximum operational speed of Mach 3. 2 to Mach 3. 3. One USA Gallon of kerosene-type Jet A or Jet A-1 fuel contains approximately 39.5 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of energy. So, that is 1,422,000 kWh an hour.A legendary spy plane has vanished from a California military base it comes as NASA teases a mysterious new aircraft sparking speculation the two could be related. In the service of the first A (aeronautics) in NASA, we are rebuilding our X-plane fleet. The X-59 is researching quiet supersonic flight, but it's just the beginning," Isaacman. It will not be long before NASA once again is flying as high and as fast as we had in decades past, and then even more.
Under optimum Standard Test Conditions (STC) defined as 1,000 W / m irradiance and 25 celsius temperature a 500-watt solar panel generates a maximum instantaneous power output of 500 watts. This peak capacity translates to an hourly energy production of 500 watt-hours (0. 5 kWh) per hour of peak sunlight.
The new X-59 will NOT be solar powered!

We all know that 9/11 was planned and executed by Usama bin Laden and Al Qaida, jihadi extremists. You don't even have a case, that's why you make up lies and ignore reality.
The people in Lebanon and particularly in the southern parts are being threatened and persecuted by Iran and their Hezbollah terrorists. I know for a fact Christians in southern Lebanon supports Israel, they know that Israel doesn't want to attack their villages. This is a war caused by Hezbollah, Iran, Syria and their desire to slaughter Jews and Christians.

There is actually no need to give change back. The payment is made digitally. You always have exact change. The price is in SATS.

Posts: 1468Poor little you! Trump is the bad guy because your little "fuck" trip to the LOS might be interrupted. Like making sure the fanatical Iranian terrorist regime that butchers 42,000 of its own people in the streets of Teheran does not obtain nuclear weapons is less important than you getting your dick wet. Your self conceit is amazing! Imagine some a-hole in 1942 saying, "damn that FDR; because of that cripple SOB and his gas rationing, I can't fly down to Miami for a little winter fun in the sun. Yeah, the Mullahs in Iran today and Emperor Hirhito in 1942 had nothing to do with either flight plan complications.

You could have paid a little extra for flight insurance or free flight cancelation. Face it dude: you are where you are via your travel plans on account of Iran and the short-sighted decisions you made on your own accord. I will think of you, NOT, when I am walk into Nana on my first night back in BKK.

In my previous post I gave the Oxford link to the Oxford Debate with Mossab Hassan Yousef, the son of Hamas co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef.
The link below in this post is Mossab Yoseph Haddad's full speech at Oxford. It is interesting to see how the Oxford Moderator tried to cut him off throughout the speech and especially at the end. I guess woke, left wing Oxford did not want to offend the terrorists. The outcome of the debate was already foregone conclusion. The fix was in.

Thank you to remind us the architects of the 9/11 were the Israeli terrorists, using dumb al Saud terrorists as pawn. No Iranians had anything to do with it (no Irakis too, but they still have been the victims as directed by the US backed Israel terror regime to the us terrorist army). Thank you to remind us the original terrorists are the creators of the Israel terror state, as the Polish terrorists David Brun or menachem begin and their terrorist gangs (Hagana, Irgun, Stern and Palmach) who slaughtered thousands of Palestinians and Lebanese, bombed the King David Hotel in Jerusalem long before any other group of people would be taught (by Israelis) to use these same tactics so that everyone would forget Israelis are the masterminds of these killings and destructions.

Posts: 1468Yes, it is really weird how left-wing groups in America and Western Europe like the LGBTQ people and women's rights groups have aligned themselves with Islamic terrorists like Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood who routinely throw trannys off rooftop buildings whenever they find one and kill their fellow Christian countrymen whenever they feel like it.

The Muslims living on the West Bank under the dictatorship of the Palestinian Authority have no such rights. But none of this seems to matter to the Left Wingers who are becoming more unhinged, more antisemitic every passing day. I speculate that part of this is due to Trump Derangement Syndrome, but another part is due to a deep anti-Jewish hatred that most of us thought had died out in the West after the horrors of WW 2. The reaction of the Left to October 7 is deeply disturbing to put it mildly.
