A little clarification regarding my earlier post about Labuan hotels and bars.

I am looking for a good three to four star hotel that is well located. There were couple of references to Pulau Labuan Inn. Would that hotel qualify as a 3 or 4 star? In general how would one go about booking a hotel in Labuan? I tried Asiarooms and major travel sites like Expedia but they only list Grand Dorsett hotel which is a bit out of my price range.

In terms of bars, are there bars like the ones in Angeles or Bangkok with girls on stage dancing?

SEAMongerI agreed with bro Foxdana. The best would be grand dorsett. Next best thing is waterfront or Tiara Hotel Apartment. However, all these 3 hotels are not walking distance to any of the pubs/disco with exception of grand dorsett but you have to sweat a bit.

Pulau labuan inn, global hotel and sky global hotel are 1star hotel which offer the very basic facilities (bed, shower, dressing table and tv) fitted in a very small room and can be very loud at night especially sky global and pulau labuan inn as they're located at the back and next to Poppin and Beyond (disco). Cheapest rate would be around RM88 nett.

Hotel Pulau Labuan, Hotel Pulau Labuan 2 and Mariner Hotel are 2star hotels. Have the same kind of facilities but slightly bigger and cleaner rooms.comes with breakfast, have their own coffe house at their lobby and can provide room service (meals not girl).

What I normally did is just give the hotel a call to do reservation. They normally won't ask for credit card number for secure booking with exception of grand dorsett and water front.

For pubs/disco, mainly are karaoke joint with lounge on the ground floor and v. I. P rooms at the upper level (129, tip-top, manila cafe). Last I check, each joint have at least 20-30 girls at one time. The girls won't be dancing on stage. They'll just sit around the joint. Just call the mummy and ask for show up. Once you have choose your girl, you can opt either to buy them ladies drink, booked them hourly (just to sit there with you, not to bring back) or book them the whole night. (rate should be rm300-rm350 between 7pm-midnight, rm250-rm300 after midnight).

Poppin, King's and Crossroad have lounge with live band on the ground floor and karaoke room at the upper level. Same M. O and chrges is about the same. Beyond is basically a disco.

That is a different Miss M. Normally the FLs charges around RM280 (includes transport) but you can take them as early as 7pm. Since you came in late, it is totally not worth while taking them.

I saw 2 SPA centre there.If you come out from Tyng Garden Hotel, the 2 spas are on your left. The first one been there since past few years. The further left just opened a few months back if I am not mistaken. The first one is famous for pinoy gals although not too sure these few weeks due to constant checking lately.

There is a ncie spa near Hotel 2 INN SPA located near Sdk cineplex. Nice thai massage. Can go for HJ and I don't think there is any package.

8) Of cause cigarrettes and beer are tax free.
9) Got a few reflexology centres but HJ is RM 100. Did not partake.
Damn expensive.
10) Got 2 shopping areas only. Parkson and Utama.
