I say let the markets work. If the prices are too high they will soon go out of business. If you read this Board there is plenty of warning. Guys are going there of their own free volition with plenty of information.

I definitely agree with Mr. E in a lot of ways. But I get the other angle. What some would consider a rookie mistake could be I'm OK with it price to others. It's all about supply and demand. He is not the only one willing to pay this price. $200 was fair to him based on the situation he was in. Everyone should have a magic number in their head that they are willing to pay. If $200 is within his number then boom. -$200 USD from his money stashed in his sock. Think of it this way. Girls charge for uncovered Blowjobs. Those prices vary girl to girl. Hearing a price in USD is the clearest sign that one should leave, that the girl is looking at the rich foreigner who, due to lack of information in most cases, is open to pay prices out of the local market (and not for a special service in change).

If someone ain't telling you the price in local currency then 9.5 times out of 10 you are about to get ripped off. When they tell you a price in USD, tell them that you only have pesos. Get her to give you a price in pesos. She will not even want to say that same price (if by far off chance that she even knows) 600,000 pesos because it even sounds ridiculous to her!

Mr E is spot on! I totally agree with the above. I believe that I get a good experience from a girl, if she has respect for me. A girl who considers me naif enough to be easy to exploit does not have respect for me. Period.

I am not advising to be stingy. To some extent, it is natural that, since an American tourist has a much higher spending capability than a local, he is expected to be "generous". However, there's a solution to girls who ask for dollars. Simply tell them you only have pesos. "Lo siento amor. No tengo dolares, solo tengo pesos." Make them do the conversion. Chances are that the $200 will drop to 400 k or 300 k pesos right off the bat. Counter with "Princesa, siempre pago dos cientos mil, mas taxi." She might walk away, but there's a solid chance she'll be back. Tossing in a few nice words helps. Most are quite vain, so they react well to compliments.

If she turns her nose in the air and walks away, you just avoided paying $200 to deal with a bad attitude.

And they invented Colombian Pesos so it could be used as a standard within the borders of that country. Let's say the average monthly wage where you live is $3000. Imagine if you were back home selling dick. A chick came up to you and asked how much for some dick. You probably could not keep a straight face if you told her $2000. Unless you were a professional hustler, it would be much easier to tell her that same price in a currency that was FOREIGN to you, same as those chicks in Gusto's do. They know mfs in Colombia make 800,000 pesos/month. There is no way they could tell you 600,000 pesos and be serious.

When I go to Tijuana, Mexico the street girls give a price of $20. I say but I have pesos. They say 200 pesos then. At this very moment the exchange rate of USD to Mexican Pesos is 19.08. So when I now pay 200 pesos instead of the $20 originally asked for, I am actually paying $10.48. See how that works?

Nobody is trying to talk down or talk bad. We understand there is a learning curve in mongering and it is just one of the tricks to the trade. Only discuss transactions in local currency.

Staying at Energy Living. The building and the views are absolutely stunning. The entire building is clean and upscale and you can sense that as soon as you walk in. Had dinner at Carmen in Poblado checked out the street action. Some of these girls are drop dead gorgeous but look way too young and picking up street girls ain't my thing.

When you go to FASE 2 take a look at how many guys go up and throw money at the dancers on stage. NONE!
