I am planning to get tested for STDs and HIV as part of a regular health check.

From the form I have learned that "Vijaya diagnostics" is good place to get these tests done. Is any specific branch of Vijaya diagnostics where these testes are done? I need help with tests names and what to be told while making an appointment.

Any brother who got these tests done in the past, please advise. All inputs are appreciated.

I had slight ED problem and took tadalafil tablet 10 MG, 4 hours before to see how my body is performing.

I had a good sex session and my penis has got strong erect and can clearly understand my body, that medicine is helping well. The effect was there for almost more than 1 day. It was erecting so well with frequent intervals.

Downside is after one day, my muscles got pulled from back side bum to ankle area. Can't even able to sit or walk casually. It was expected side effects and took pain killer later.

Maybe I should have tried with tadalafil 5 MG dose.

Anyone going through (or have tried) a NOFAP challenge for a long period of time? How has it affected your mongering?

I'm doing it now, and 3 months later it has not been broken yet (though some amount of "edging" happens from time to time, I'm able to control it). Recently I went to a spa to get a body massage, but my johny was down all the time, and didn't show any signs of waking up. It was a Thai massage, no extras were on the table (I didn't ask as well). I'm wondering if the NOFAP challenge had to do something about it.

If anyone has an experience with this, please share.

Whenever it's get too long since I had sex I get hard on too quickly. Even just a sight of medium hot scene on a TV turns me on.

I would like to check myself for STD. Suggest a good place for testing, approx cost etc and any other tips.

I reckon this is an important subject for everyone here. So kindly give your input.

You can get tested for HIV, syphilis, hep A, hep b, hep c at any pathology lab. Above mentioned std tests would cost you approx 1 k. Chlamydia test is bit expensive (700) and very few pathology lab do it. You can get it tested at any branch of lal path lab. Search JD or google maps for its branches near you. If you want to get tested for herpes oral and genital then it would cost you 500 to 700.

Add above mentioned price if you want to get tested for all of them at once. It would cost you 2.5 k approx. And can go up to 3 k including inflation because these were the price when I got tested a year and a half ago.

I always use umbrella in rain and till not haven't got wet but want to invest in raincoat also; for in case of any holes in umbrella or if it flies away in storm.

While pursuing our hobby, we're prone to get exposed to Hepatitis due to exchange or contact of bodily secretions.

Hepatitis has three variants:

Hepatitis - A

Hepatitis - B

Hepatitis - C.

Right now there is no commercially available vaccine for Hepatitis - C, but available for A & B.

To answer your questions:

1. Consult any Gastroenterologist or a doctor specialized in infectious diseases or Venereology and ask him/her to prescribe for a Hepatitis Vaccine. Doctor would first order for a baseline testing, if the results are negative, one can get vaccine administered. I'm from Bangalore, in Foorrttis Bangalore, each shot costed me INR110 + Nursing Charges and never faced any stigma or weird faces/gestures.

2 , 3. I have taken Hepatitis Vaccine in 2017 and didn't have any side effects, however, it varies from person to person.

I know all of you are wearing condoms but apart from that there are chances of STD. Its scary even more than HIV. Better to get tested and safe.

I request all of you to do vaccination for hepatitis be because it prevents all of you from contagious disease called STD..

You can do vaccination for hepatitis be but there is no cure / vaccination for herpes. Although herpes is not life threating but outbreak of it can be nasty and pain in the ass. However, there are medicines that can prevent or shorten outbreaks. Herpes virus goes into hiding in your nerve cells and it stays in your body for life long. Stay safe.

Thanks for starting this important thread. Not only hepatitis or HIV, there is one more std which we all should be careful about. Herpes. It is a non curable std and once you have it, it becomes your companion for rest of the life. Condoms cannot protest against herpes. It can be transmitted even when an infected person is not having an outbreak. There is no vaccine for herpes. Worst thing most people having herpes is not aware that they have it. The symptoms of herpes are so generic that most people think it something else. While doing std test one should always test for hsv 1 and 2 igm and igg as well to know his herpes status.
