Hi, it is best not to follow the Nigerian touts, specifically those in Kabukicho at Shinjuku. They have a long history for drugging lone customers in bars and then robbing them. The US Embassy repeatedly warns about them. They are opportunistic and know how to hide their crimes, they lead people to second-rate titty bars, most that Japanese would not visit. Lucky for you if you are in a group. If you are alone and the bar is empty that is the most dangerous scenario. I have seen with my own two eyes them committing brazen crimes.
